- Bashrat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15I handed over my 3 proposals to others, and 2 were effectively taken over by others (Jabber integration and BitTorrent tacker), and BOTH were selected by Google! WOOHOO! :)
- aaroncampbell, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9But that's only on Drupal. They have other SoC endeavors as well.
- drlha, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Google Talk is based on Jabber.
- lucidmoon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4It's donations and support such as this that make me feel all warm inside knowing I chose the right CMS. Good stuff Google, Good stuff Drupal. Keep it up
- apperceptions, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3go Drupal and SOC!
- grugnog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Have you looked at http://drupal.org/project/casetracker - this is a generic (non-software development) issue/support request tracker.
Oh yes - and there is a SoC project assigned to extend it: http://code.google.com/soc/drupal/appinfo.html?csaid=D5B05BEC5466AE4C - foreplay, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4there are 40 people working on kde as well
http://dot.kde.org/1176336589/ - RatherDashing, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3that would be really useful, currently i'm looking into a corporate intranet and looking at open source CMS's and Drupal is sorely lacking in a help desk plug-in. Anyone know of an OSS CMS with such a plug-in?
- burke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Drupal needs better integration to some type of calendar.
- kcolwell, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Rock ON!
- burke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2*better* :) The calendar module is, quite honestly, terrible.
- BZKyle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2They only gave BZFlag four slots... :(
- Timmmm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Of course he was being sarcastic. It's not *that* hard to tell...
- berryjoe, on 11/17/2009, -0/+1Great!
XBox 360 Elite and ps3 for free here http://ps4free.com - jmlane, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Google Talk uses a custom version of the Jabber protocol. You can login to your Gtalk account from any Jabber client (some features won't be available, e.g.: email notification, file sharing, voice chat...).
Curious to see how they plan on integrating Jabber/XMPP with Drupal. - MindFood, on 10/22/2009, -0/+1It is a pretty interesting site, cheers for that, http://www.thyromine-reviews.org/ all the best with the project.
- 7daydietplan, on 10/23/2009, -0/+1Drupal is the way to go by far.
http://creditcardrates.co.za/credit-card-interest- ... - burke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I have a new solution: Embedding google calendar in an iframe.
- xamox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Alright, I'm working on one of the projects.
- cnldelta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm right now interested in wordpress and drupal complementing each other. Have wordpress used as an RSS publishing tool and Drupal powered websites to organise (with the awesome Views module) and re-distribute RSS feeds collected and combined from Wordpress feeds. Wordpress sites used as publishing clients, and Drupal powered websites as servers.
The more Drupal integrates itself with every web technology out there, the more and more Drupal becomes important to integrating and managing cross domain content as what google is to search technology. - kcolwell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1There is the calendar module: http://drupal.org/project/calendar/

- rick02840, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0My understanding is that Event and Calendar are being phased out in favor of using CCK with date fields. Generally, if you can do it with CCK and Views, that is the recommended way to go moving forward.
- mppeters, on 10/12/2007, -6/+5Try Joomla (php) http://www.joomla.org
