- jmlane, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Google Talk uses a custom version of the Jabber protocol. You can login to your Gtalk account from any Jabber client (some features won't be available, e.g.: email notification, file sharing, voice chat...).

- rick02840, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0My understanding is that Event and Calendar are being phased out in favor of using CCK with date fields. Generally, if you can do it with CCK and Views, that is the recommended way to go moving forward.

Have wordpress used as an RSS publishing tool and Drupal powered websites to organise (with the awesome Views module) and re-distribute RSS feeds collected and combined from Wordpress feeds. Wordpress sites used as publishing clients, and Drupal powered websites as servers.
The more Drupal integrates itself with every web technology out there, the more and more Drupal becomes important to integrating and managing cross domain content as what google is to search technology. - o0Per0o, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0SMS is really taking off..check this blog out about a new company called phire mobile
