If you use Microsoft's Messenger-services, you might try eMSN (free) for Java Enabled phones:

- Nation, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0why search when you can just post away?
Seems to me that there is a flaw in the system where unless you search for the exact same address you will not see that someone else already posted it (and even then you might not find it). - officerdoofy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Pretty cool. Me and some other guys also developed something like this for the Hiptop (Tmobile sidekick) a while back. http://sourceforge.net/projects/hipgmap

clackablog: I guess you are the one who is wrong, I did send an answer on 7/7 telling you I was working on fixing problems with Treos, and Mobile GMaps is working on Treos and probably Tungstens too since version 1.12 (~since September).
[/flame] - dreamlayers, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I have an Audiovox 8910 phone and I use Bell Mobility (Canada). An older version of the program installed, but the road maps were dithered bit depth 1 black/white. They were horrible and useless. The satellite maps didn't show up at all or they were all totally white. I tried messing with the proxy settings and I eventually gave up.
Then I found that Google has their own mobile maps application: http://www.google.com/gmm/index.html . I was unable to download that from my cell phone because I kept getting 502 bad gateway errors, but I got these files:
http://www.google.com/gmm/apps/v1.3.0/L1/gmaps-Generic-Basic_MIDP1_L1.jad
http://www.google.com/gmm/apps/v1.3.1/L1/gmaps-131-m1_L1.jar
uploaded them via:
http://www.funformobile.com/pages/game/gamemain.php
and it works great! It's way better than the MapMe application that I paid $5 for! It's surprisingly fast and usable when viewing road maps and even the satellite maps are usable. - ahmadh84, on 07/30/2008, -0/+0Hey I just found a site which is giving away free google maps for your cell!!
http://softwaremandi.in/symbian/google-maps-nokia- ...

- clackablog, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0> CLDC 1.0 and MIDP 1.0 or later.
BZZZT. Wrong. Won't work on Palm Tungsten W Palmphone even with Sun's J2ME installed, which is CLDC 1.0 and MIDP 1.0 compliant.
Advised author weeks ago, no answer. - ScottyTee, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0haha very cool, I hope its available on the k750i :-)
