- skerg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+27More then one image per page would be nice
- drpatter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16It would have been nice to have the actual link to the google map coordinates.
- Reziarfg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Good sir, I believe you have not seen this.
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&t=k&q=Germany&ie=UTF8&z=18&ll=48.857699,10.205451&spn=0.002404,0.006738&om=1 - jizzimmy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9"A man in Las Vegas about to open his car door."
Oh... i see. - terminality, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7What would be nicer is the photos at a decent resolution. I'm working on them both now.
- addisonj, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Yeah... this is about the worst google earth story ever, what did he do, go onto the google earth message board, click 32 random posts and put it up there with low res photos? i especially like the guy getting into his car, and the "topless sunbather", i still hold its a blow up doll :P
- grablife, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6#8 Mysterious green circles in the desert just a few miles from Area 51. What are they covering?
What's so mysterious about irrigation circles? What are they covering? My guess would be the crop is covering the dirt beneath it.
#11 Leaning towers of Manhattan. The Empire State building appears to be leaning to the left, while a neighboring building two blocks southwest appears to be leaning to the right.
How is this the best of Google? You will see this on every Google map of any cityscape. They are simply a composite of two images taken at different angles. - se7en11, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Just visit http://www.googlesightseeing.com/ and be done with it.
They've got all the best images and info to go along with it. - biwook, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5But actually it is... Why would you swear about this ?
- Kittenality, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Er...there is a drop-down box so you can go directly to the photo wanted.
- macro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3guess i have to buy new PC because adds on that page takes my CPU to 100% and interfering iptv.
flashblock - appetite, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4#22. not worth it.
- ThankTheCheese, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2#5: A man in Las Vegas about to open his car door.
uuh...OK? - DirtySnachez, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Amen, I couldn't be ***** looking through all of them just to find the boobies, someone tell me what page it is ;)
- widman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Lame, old news on a slideshow plus some random not interesting images.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2He didn't know that was the photo he wanted. :|
- dstrube, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1#28: "Weirdness in Huangyangtan, China - a scale model of a mountain landscape. Like a miniature village, this constructed landscape includes miniature lakes, and snow capped mountains. Do you recognise those lakes and mountains?"
No, I don't recognize them. Can anyone explain what the hell they're talking about? - PARAPA, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1To be fair some of the images were interesting.
Still old news none the less!!! - Beerduck, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Should be 'The worst of Google Earth".
Some of the pics would be ok if they all weren't so damn small.
Lame. - Kittenality, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@ Wartyboskfapped...it was posted an hour before his post what number the "boobie" photo was. Why else was he looking for #22 in particular?
- jaywalkerice, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Spent 5 agonizing minutes to get to slide #22!!! That sucked.
- Nitro187, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Direct link to what you all want to see..... topless sunbathers:
http://networks.silicon.com/webwatch/0,39024667,39163220-22,00.htm
Too bad the resolution wasn't as good as it is in Las Vegas. ;) - lexbaby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"#7 Nellis Air Force base, Nevada - better known to UFO conspiracy theorists as Area 51. On this image you can clearly make out the multiple runways where planes such as the B2 Stealth Bomber were tested."
WRONG! Nellis is NOT Area 51. I believe the picture is Nellis AFB. Area 51 is a totally different place. - ThankTheCheese, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1#2 was worth it (the "nazi" building). How in the world did that slip through?!
- ZoomBoy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm just sick of seeing that Siemens flash ad with that dude yelling at me to turn the sound on every time I look at a new image!!
- Zoshchenko, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Just adding my agreement with most of the comments here. A complete reload of the page for each new photo? Who's got the time or patience?
- jhshukla, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1wow! what is that thing?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2That site was so ***** slow. Hosted from the UK, maybe that explains it. Plus, what everyone else said. Reloading the ***** page with all the ***** just for those teeny tiny pics? I suppose that's what they wanted.
- ianw2006, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Reckon they saw the comments - all the pics have been updated to higher res versions. Looks better - still reckon there's a lot of sites missing though they should have used.
- ikak, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Really?!?! Its a composite? I thought they took a picture of the whole world at one time... hm... well that's odd now isn't it! Lol just kidding. But that does give quite the brain trip for the first couple seconds of looking at those leaning towers.
Speaking of leaning towers... I wonder if they could make the leaning tower in italy look straight? - shiva74, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0photo #2 is just freaking me out... seriously...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Why? Are you a liar??
- Elephant789, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1The best of Google Earth. More like the best of Google USA. I guess all the best google earth pics are in the usa. Nothing going on outside that country. Might as well call it Google US. You know what I mean.
- appetite, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0i came to the comments section for that answer alone. you have failed me.
- EmileVictor, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2I would swear that picture 29 is not of uluru.
