- camintmier, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I dunno Twelve-60, I don't feel comfortable giving some random website my gmail screenname and password. I think I'll stick with Gmail Drive, as it serves my purposes.
- Edgen22, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wow. I would NEVER use that website that Twelve-60 suggested. NEVER give out your passwords for ANYTHING. There is NO REASON at all that ANY website including the one you registered on would need your password. EVER.
- eqisow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1www.xmailharddrive.com is actually pretty nice. It is a bit more of a pain to upload things, since you lose the drag-n-drop ability, but you can upload files >10 megs, it breaks them down into parts automatically. As far as them knowing your password, use a dummy account and don't upload anything extra private. Simple. Why would somebody clutter and fill their actual inbox for this anyway?
- crankx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Here is a link for a mac equivalent for os x about halfway down the page the second one.

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0well you can like you said make a dummy account and upload files so that a friend can go get them later, anyways thanks for the post Dawolfman
- tsupersonic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0what makes you think they aren't stealing your passwords?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I thought that 1.0.6 was already released long ago.. Guess not. I need this update! Thanks!
- clofresh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Is there an OSX equivalent?

- crankx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0yeah and the xmail drive requires no install for us on computers at work that won't allow us to install apps.
- heavyness, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i'm sure they are ok, but do they have the network secure and how quick till someone hacks them and makes out with tons of emails and passwords.
life sucks, buy a memory stick. - pdrap, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0So what's the story with gmailfs for Linux? I tried it out last night, only to discover that I couldn't log in, and the latest version of the supporting library hadn't been updated since August 2004. Is that a dead project?
- spingk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0My expierence with gmaildrive is this. I made 3 dummy accounts. Why three? Because once I logged in to the account on GMailDrive and tried to login again I could not log in. So make sure you are using a dummy account and not upload something personal.
- 7of7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I guess someone should rank my previous comment off this page as it no longer applies. The windows vista guys comment disappeared.
