I've been using it for a couple of months now and very few things ever get through. That alone is worth the price of switching to WordPress and setting up a WordPress.com account (which is nothing other than a little of your time).
WordPress is a great content management system, whether you use it for a blog or just a (Mostly) static page. The support community is great and customizing your own code is relatively simple. I'm looking forward to v2.0 and it seems like a great time to make the switch for anyone using other tools with WP's new import features. - asciident, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I wish this guy would proofread his blog posts before publishing. - super_structure, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0roblp: I've upgraded and even though most of my plug-ins aren't listed, it works just fine. You might want to turn off the default WYSIWYG editor as that seems to be the conflict with a lot of the plug-ins. I don't think I would use it anyway, as it removes custom tags I use (such as ). Just a though.

I blog because it is a good fun release of my thoughts and emotions, I don't want to make money through that. Sure, if someone gets me something through my wishlist, that's fine. But other than that, I'm not going to try to get anything else from it.
