"Congratualtions"... Damn don't they use their own spell checkers? - Nitsugua, on 10/12/2007, -6/+138Oh yes, they do use them.
but maybe that sentence was voice-typed ? - tastethevenom, on 10/12/2007, -8/+116Extra credit...

I put confusion for 2 and they still said they would send me the DVDs. nonetheless I am not expecting anything. - zeroed, on 10/12/2007, -7/+79Is it just me, or is Microsoft shooting itself in the foot with some of these answers?
2. Confusion
3. May 2007
5. Aqua
8. 4 Gigs? - insinuate, on 10/12/2007, -4/+64Microsoft INDIA? Something wrong here?
- affanjam, on 10/12/2007, -3/+60And nothing will come
- mcflynnthm, on 10/12/2007, -6/+59Funfact: A *****-ton of people use Windows.
- Unclickable, on 10/12/2007, -3/+51You got 1 out of 8 questions right. To have your gift couriered, please click on the button below and provide your details.
- CBTF, on 10/12/2007, -37/+83"#5 is technically Aqua, but hey!"
No it isn't. Explain how. - craterburnsu, on 10/12/2007, -17/+62@nyrol1
I think he's a mac elitist trying to be a smart ass. - eplawless, on 10/12/2007, -3/+42I'll give it a shot. I could use a coaster.
- akifbayram, on 10/12/2007, -3/+38Sorry man but it isn't going to come.

- seventoes, on 10/12/2007, -1/+31Is that a metric *****-ton?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+30So are kittens, but its still not a good idea to force DVDs into them, or a power cord for that matter!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+34orrr, you can get a torrent of the dvd, free!
- ubuntutorial, on 10/12/2007, -4/+31 I won 13 USB thumb drives from microsoft... I got Confirmation emails and everyhting...
but, they never came. - Arramol, on 10/12/2007, -6/+32Unless they've optimized it since I messed around with Beta 1, the answer to #8 really ought to be 1gb. With a fresh install, the thing was using something on the order of 300 megs of RAM on boot-up, and that was with the fancy visual stuff turned off.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+27I think I'll wait for Vista RC1, which should supposedly be more stable than this Beta 2.
And is there a reason the link is to Microsoft India? - soof, on 10/12/2007, -1/+25i think they will have more copies of the cd of vista than of thumb drives. It makes more sense of them to run out of drives than to run out of cds. I am actually expecting to recieve one, though not for a loooong time.
- QuantaS, on 10/12/2007, -23/+43my grandmother on a tightrope is more stable than ANY Windows OS
- darkstar949, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21They are trying a new campaign of truth in advertising.
- contradictator, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21How about you both go out drinking and enjoy eachother's company?
- alwaysmc2, on 10/12/2007, -9/+27@CBTF
Sorry, man. I didn't notice the quotes and I dugg you down!
Why Aero in Vista is not a photocopy of Aqua in Tiger: Aero has glass, and is in a 3D environment. You can also change the color. - colonelpanic, on 10/12/2007, -17/+35Well in that case, number one should be Mac OS X.
"Redmond, start your photocopiers" - Reidtheweed01, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2630second registration? I guess you are to busy compiling programs, and configuring your latest linux distro.
- muffinmanpoo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+19Couldn't you just format it?
- ZaNkY, on 10/12/2007, -4/+21I got the same email :(
the email ends with:
--------------
Again, thank you for your interest in Mystery Solved and for helping us spread the word about proper Windows licensing.
Sincerely,
Microsoft Corporation

Another tactic from the "Microsoft Corporation" (sounds like umbrella corp lol), the convicted monopolist got me :( - GCRaya, on 10/12/2007, -5/+22Well, here goes nothing.
- bejitunksu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18Or you could just use any email...
I have mine set up to use Gmail. - falcon707, on 10/12/2007, -3/+20This thing is like a propaganda quiz.
- biometricks, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17OK... so it wasn't just me that saw that...
- neoknight, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17I don't how vista is supposed to bring clarity to your world, when they have two guys standing on top of a mountain looking into a haze!
- Celeron, on 10/12/2007, -6/+22It's from Microsoft Window India!
- CBTF, on 10/12/2007, -12/+26"@CBTF
Sorry, man. I didn't notice the quotes and I dugg you down!"
That's okay, it's the other -6 that hurt the most ;( - adolfojp, on 10/12/2007, -3/+17Dear xenonflash
I hate you.
Love,
adolfojp - antdude, on 10/12/2007, -2/+16I got mine over a month ago or so, but it sucked!! It was only 16 MB and had PDF files for some other software/services or something.
- gatorsrule21, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15Digging this AFTER I get my registration in.
- Lumiras, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15Did anybody notice that this is coming from Microsoft India? I'm thinking that in a few days, we'll all get e-mails saying "this offer was only for users in India"
- andrew1193, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12If I receive a copy of Beta 2 in Hindi, I'm going to be pissed.
- SirHaakon, on 10/12/2007, -4/+16Oh, you mean your MICROSOFT Xbox 360? What a comeback!
- bug20k1, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12careful, They might hear you.
- muffinmanpoo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12I got that, and I'm Australian.
I said no too... - sKiLLa182, on 10/12/2007, -5/+13Anyone else get asked if Microsoft India may contact you as a last question when you have Canada as the country entered?
I said no... - Pignanelli, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Aaah, the Audi USB drive (that I never got either)!
Can you imagine running that program, and you maybe order 5000 units, give away 3500 over 5 months, then get Dugg and get a glut of requests for 7000 in two days?
Actually, that's what you call a successful marketing campaign. Answer truthfully: On a scale of -10 to 10, how much more likely are you to buy an Audi in the future, where 10 is 'much more' and -10 is 'much less'. - quinnk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Enjoy those $150 upgrades... how much have you spent on OSX so far?
