How does the new design of Digg help you or benefit or do ANYTHING for you? I'm truly perplexed. I just don't understand what it's all about.
I visit Digg because about 1 in 10 of the links are useful/relevant/interesting to me and it is updated with a frequency that I find easy to deal with, and if I miss a day or thirty, so what?

There's WAY too much hype and excitement for something that isn't really all that revolutionary or extraordinary. It is indeed just a site with cool links.. Nothing too special there

Where the flowers grow as people digg the stories or whatever it does, well picture that as a wallpaper on your desktop, and you dont even need a browser to check out whats the top stories on digg for the day, that would be really cool to have.

There is certainly some attraction to the empowerment that being able to vote for stories and comments brings, but I think that will diminish after the novelty wears out. Frankly, I find most of the comments juvenile - even the ones with lots of diggs.
