    Every time it loads, it'll cycle through "Connecting to, Waiting For..." about 30 times, each time loading some crappy piece of javascript they probably don't use the full potential of.

    I just felt the need to rant about that.

    and offer enough for a beginner to have a full fledged site

That new design looks so much like Geocities Pagebuilder that if they're gonna make something look like a website editing program, why not make a website editing program?

    Unfortunately, Freewebs does not offer these functions.

    Though I don't know much about them, I'd have thought that was pretty good actually.
