- Kratos76, on 02/22/2008, -6/+361I'm sure I count for at least 100 of them.
- sgtcaboose, on 02/22/2008, -7/+224Firefox: 500'000'000
Internet Explorer: 7 - jaybhai, on 02/22/2008, -4/+178It feels like it was just yesterday we were celebrating 100 million. :-)
- thehype2049, on 02/22/2008, -4/+166where i worked IT @ my office, i suggested that we switch to Firefox over IE 2 years ago. Now over 1000 computers at our office use firefox. Many users have found it to be more reliable and user friendly than IE. Open Source has helped make my job a whole lot easier. Thanks you Mozilla.
- Emused, on 02/22/2008, -8/+130I have personally installed it on about 200 systems since its release, managed to talk our CIO, a real M$ stalwart , to put it on our 160+ profiles.Rock on Foxman.
- daFilms, on 02/22/2008, -1/+111I offset your 100 with my dozens I spread through my USB keychain ;-)
- agnivo007, on 02/22/2008, -2/+101That's a great achievement for Open Source initiative.
- inactive, on 02/22/2008, -4/+88500 million grains of donated rice. Enough to feed 25,000 people, or 1 obese American.
- inactive, on 02/22/2008, -1/+64Depends on how many dozens. 10 dozen > 100
- inactive, on 02/22/2008, -1/+60Firefox is pretty cool with its themes and addons. ABP is a godsend.
- Aeuta, on 02/22/2008, -1/+58Great job firefox :)...in other news I donated over 1000 grains, I hope to donate a thousand more tomorrow...dam that vocab game is enjoyable.
- ephemoL, on 02/22/2008, -4/+58I know a grain of rice isn't a lot, but according to my calculations, each person would receive 20,000 grains of rice.
Also, they should donate some chicken to go with the rice. - chrismcelligott, on 02/22/2008, -5/+55If he is 7, for the sake of his arsehole, I hope he's a virgin.
- bthug7, on 02/22/2008, -2/+46At first I downloaded firefox just to be different and check out something new. Now I accept nothing less. Truly one of the greatest open source programs of our time. I loved it when my friends on IE were so excited about tabbed browsing and I was like "what, your just getting that?".
- yelnatz, on 02/22/2008, -3/+46My university has Firefox standard. :)
- Deodrus, on 02/22/2008, -7/+49I work in IT, and everytime I fix some student's computer, I install Firefox, tell them what it is, and remove IE from the Desktop Icons and also from the QuickLaunch bar to get them to switch. Oh, and I install Adblock to "sell" them the idea.
- Cloudime, on 02/22/2008, -0/+37That meant he thought it was good, for those who aren't fluent in third-level slang.
- supersheep7, on 02/22/2008, -5/+42We've got a lot in common. Every time I fix someone's computer, I install heinous amounts of horse porn all over the C drive and delete everything else.
- Vindexus, on 02/22/2008, -1/+37That freerice.com thing is win.
- prgmctan, on 02/22/2008, -9/+45100 > dozens
- qumiku, on 02/22/2008, -4/+382008 January:
IE7 21.2%
IE6 32.0%
IE5 1.5%
Fx 37.2%
Moz 1.3%
S 1.9%
O 1.4% - inactive, on 02/22/2008, -5/+37Dont you think thats a bit intrusive. At my work im always helping others with their computer problems. If I change a wallpaper they get pissed off. If I remove IE icons and install additional apps asking to perform system scans and ***** ill get an ear full. Too many newbies in the world.
- garionw, on 02/22/2008, -1/+32and to think just 3 years ago they had 10,000,000 downloads and the NYT ad
- chetanthaker, on 02/22/2008, -7/+37Thats 500,000,000 blt*h-slaps for Internet Exploder
- inactive, on 02/22/2008, -5/+33you stupid ***** idiot.
- jamesdew, on 02/22/2008, -1/+28also why would you need to download it everyday? Cant you just re-run the installer file you downloaded the day before?
- jeaikz09, on 02/22/2008, -2/+28Kudos to Firefox! Thanks Mozilla. Can't seem to use any other browser even if it hogs my system memory. I'm looking forward to Firefox 3.
And I'm enjoying the vocab game. :D - IEatHamburgers, on 02/22/2008, -0/+26Permission denied, there's a blizzard coming out of Hell that's shutting down the runway
- Cloudime, on 02/22/2008, -2/+27Oh fine, I'll be the one to tell him.
Reinstalling your browser doesn't clear your spyware.
If you want to clear your spyware, here's your best bet:

- ROYALWITHCHEESE, on 02/22/2008, -1/+23actually ie has just one right to exist: being able to download firefox
- ArandiaT, on 02/22/2008, -1/+22IE tab? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/141 ...
- inactive, on 02/22/2008, -0/+20If "dozens" is less than 8 and 1/3 dozens, yes.
- oopsiejoy, on 02/22/2008, -1/+19Go firefox, looking forward to when it hits 1 billion!
- wedges, on 02/22/2008, -0/+18GEEEEK FIIIIIGHT!
- mvent2, on 02/22/2008, -0/+18So this bitch of a site won't let you say bitch? Son of a bitch.
- mcmlxxii, on 02/22/2008, -3/+20Incoming pig requires permission to land
- PL3NTY, on 02/22/2008, -3/+20Same here, I install it on every PC I touch!
Even on servers. - falafelkiosken, on 02/22/2008, -1/+177? Is the Microsoft board of directors that big?
- iRelinquish, on 02/22/2008, -1/+17Could you please explain this to my wife?
- inactive, on 02/22/2008, -2/+17and it's very well deserved.

- sparkmonkeyz, on 02/22/2008, -3/+17you sir are retarted
- jpt62089, on 02/22/2008, -1/+15Mmmmm chicken and rice... And melt some cheese in with it all and mix it all up... Darnit, now I am hungry!
- flyzzx, on 02/22/2008, -1/+15As a web developer, the only sane use of IE that I can think of is for testing purposes.
- schoate09, on 02/22/2008, -1/+14Couldn't have said it better myself.
- Goblinkiller, on 02/22/2008, -2/+15Safari, Firefox, Opera - as long as it isn't IE it's good
- Dantetheinferno, on 02/22/2008, -6/+19It's totalitarian to include a web browser so people can surf? Oh no! They have competing products, damn them for wanting people to use IE over FF. DAMN THEM!
- cassoilo, on 02/22/2008, -2/+14I guess many web developers (like me) use firefox (and probably a lot of add-ons like, firebug, web developer) to help make it a lot easier. The decepcion comes when you Alt+TAB to IE and see you beautifull, standards compliant code all screwed up :/
- brskeen, on 02/22/2008, -1/+13Windows Update (i.e. security patches and bug fixes) requires IE doesn't it?
