1) do not mess with windows internet settings unless you know how to reset them (and there are about 35 different kinds under a whole slew of hives)
2) in Techspot there is a complete index of tweaking with their explanations and directions and results.
Why would any sane person click yes and then wondering why windows won't start?

I'll upgrade to firefox 1.5 when it comes out since right now alot of the extensions for that version are kinda buggy like tabbed browser prefs :)

- lickmygiggle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0easy way to get autocomplete in Firefox: type “about:config” into the urlbar. Right Click anywhere on the about:config page and select New>Boolean. In the box that pops-up, type “browser.urlbar.autoFill” (without the “”) press enter (or ok) then select true and press ok. Restart Firefox to save changes.

I'm using 1.5 beta 1 and noticed a bug right away although I'm not sure if it's because of specific websites or not.
If I open the browser, my home pages load crazy fast. No problem there. I can open and close and re-open the browser with no problem.
The problem I had comes with a bookmark folder containing a bunch of sites that I visit less often. If I open all of the sites in the bookmark folder in tabs and then close out the browser and then try to re-open the browser I get the error message that firefox.exe is still running and I have to use the task manager to stop it and then I can re-open the browser. Happens every time and I've never had this issue prior to installing firetune. It only takes me 1 second to close out the firefox.exe that is still running so it really isn't a big deal. Bit of an annoyance though.
