http://www.richgentlemenhide.com/articles/photoshop-tutorial-fountain-of-youth/ - Jacques67, on 10/12/2007, -0/+26Still think the first one is the best. Much more post-processing, including that freaky "neck-extension" thing that gets me every time.

goto the portfolio, then before/after - 6ixStringJack, on 10/12/2007, -4/+23If this video taught me anything, it's that people are ugly and we're all lucky to have Photoshop.
- Pandakopanda, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18Makes me wonder when they will stop using real persons altogether and switch to computer generated models.
- hechtal, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16Hah photo retouching is what I do for a living, you wouldn't believe what some people make us do. Normally you try to do minimal changes - taking out zits, baggy eyes, etc - that I can understand. Then we get the special people - that want you to take fat off of their faces, necks, arms, stomach. Of course, if they are that concerned about appearances they should go run a few laps. That's the only time I don't enjoy it, when I'm effectivly making them look like a completely different person. Seriously, I've even had people try to get me to replace their eyes or smiles with someone else's, and with photoshop it can be done and be seamless. Cool video though, except I enjoyed the video effects and wipes better than the actual changes to the photos.
- cynicist, on 10/12/2007, -2/+16Bah it just makes us long for women that don't exist. I'd rather see real people.
- driftwood07, on 10/12/2007, -4/+17@ expresso . lens flair and reflections
- devolve, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15you missed that he ocassionally resizes the nose, nose tip, and details of the eye and other smaller facial key details.
- MEbuDDy6, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14You ever see celebrities without makeup? Seeing Julia Roberts for the 1st time w/o makeup was a shocker.
http://www.niquehappy.com/uglycelebpics.htm - general13, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15Or cyborgs with LASER BEAMS for eyes.
Yeah...that would be sweet. - ThirdPrize, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13I have some videos of models being touched up ... whoops, wrong message board!
- crawfishsoul, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10"Does anyone know what application they are using...?"
The image toolbar in Microsoft Word 97. Amazing tool.
[edit] And when I say "Amazing tool" I'm referring to MS Word 97, not FearMoth. ;p - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8FAKE!
Obviously photoshopped. - krinthekuz, on 09/16/2008, -2/+9even if you don't digg for the video, the links here on the comments page show exactly how fake people in the media are. a few weeks back in the comments to the marilyn monroe article, i commented that even a 6 can look like a 10 with this kind of professional work. i take that back. even a 4 can look like a 10 with this kind of professional work.
- GarySZ, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Yeah... I mean... why say "bad" when "doubleplusungood" works just as well?
- MEbuDDy6, on 10/12/2007, -5/+12Meant to add to bottom of comment list. I hate comment reply abuse.
- superspak, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7this goes to show you that almost all celebrity pictures are not how they look
- general13, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7I agree with cynicist - personally a girl/woman who looks natural and not caked with makeup is far more attractive to me. Something about it seems wholesome and not cracked-out and fake.
Call me crazy. - paulmdx, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9What's with everything being a video these days? What's wrong with static images on a web page that I can view at my own speed, rather than waiting for fancy fade effects?
- Tandaemonium, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9There's also playing with levels, curves, selective colors and straight up various paintbrushes at 10-24% opacity.
- hixsonj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Is it just me or is it creepy when their eyes turn bright green all of a sudden...
- mrgono3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5@darkdaedra
Thats not the same video. - TheWorm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Really this isn't as drastic as most photoshopping. The people were already attractive, but they just played with the lighting, and contrasts so the photos appeared more artistic. It's the ones where they look like a whole different person that get me.
They were improving the photographs, and not the person. - HonoredMule, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5There aren't any...that's kinda the message, dufus.
- hifiDesign, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Just goes to show you, even Rebecca Romijn looks like a beatup prostitute prior to Photoshopping...
[/sarcasm] - Xinareiaz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2What the hell was with the chick slitting her tongue???
- antgoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2These are in my opinion, overtouched. It's obvious at the end that these photos have been doctored. A professional wouldn't leave any traces of his/her work. This is mostly first year Photoshop stuff.
- djKianoosh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2one day? you expect to remember you dugg this link one day? man, you must have a great memory. in about a year, i'll probably forget i even had a digg account.
- mrgono3, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Dude everyone beat you!
- general13, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Adobe Photoshop
- wozley, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That damn kid looks scary.
- Daolohua, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1These aren't really very good retouches. A few of them make the model look horrific. no digg
- jamesvaughn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1real chicks are so 90's
- djm91, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1its so weird to see what girls can do with some makeup, aside from this digital retouch, girls could dress a full face burn into a totally new face with some makeup.
it makes u wonder how many girls actually dont look the way they normally do when they go out in public - hordak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wasn't that third girl from the show "Black. White."? Rose Bloomfeld? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0494185/
- SLSSNAKE, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wait... so that's what I've been getting off too all these years? FAKE PEOPLE? (besides touching myself while playing WoW, of course)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1when it gets to morphing the actual face, ok, then it's definite it's not the same person anymore.
- velvet396, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1in most of those he's really just making up for ***** photography and picture/camera quality.
- MistressRoninS, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wow lovely music as it made it all seem so haunting. I need to find more songs by Rigg.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1a week ago i posted a fantastic parody of the video and no one cared, but this guy re-posts the original and is most dugg of the day. just my luck.
- Crusty, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I don't know why the person who submitted this said it was from Dove. It's not. A friend of mine in Brazil made this video and posted it to YouTube a while back. Yes, the Dove one is submitted all the time, but this one has only been submitted twice before, one of those times by me. Both of the previous submissions didn't get more than 11 diggs, so I'm not sure how this one made it to the front page. It's got to be friends digging each other's articles.
By the way, in the video the little boy with the spooky eyes is his son. One of the women he shows is his sister. - jonnyboy88, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah, it reminded me of the "surface" level in Goldeneye on the N64
- purplegrog, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2What actual link does this have with the Dove campaign? Aside from the obvious contrasts between the before and after, there's no explicit mention of Dove or the Campaign for Real Beauty. If you go to bressane.com and go to the About page, there's no mention of Dove or Unilever (Dove's parent company) on their client list.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Just to prove how dumb digg is, I'm gonna repost this exactly a week from now :)
- shelle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Oh, my. Julia was actually one of the less shocking ones.
- HonoredMule, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Which ones are false? Cause if the hard drive icons are false, I'm really screwed here.
- brainspears, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Obvious FAKE!
- jamesjamesjames, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sad state of affairs :(
