All of which I assume are OG users that are a little concerned about the lack of support. The PM did not ask anyone to revolt. In fact, the PM did not ask for anything. It just mentioned a link to a thread related to most of our concerns... Find another place to comment on things you have no knowledge of. You're speaking out of school. I find it hard to believe that any of the four people complained. It looks like someone is reading PM's and getting a little pissed out of spite. That's pretty lame, and quite childish if you ask me.

Then a few people complained about getting pm spammed... and just as any forum admin/mod would, they banned you. It was only temporarily too! I would not be so kind, if you were telling people to digg something that talked about me in a derogatory way, I would probably ban you for good.

We tried calling but could not get through because the voice mail boxes were full for over 6 months. That is 6 months. We posted on their forums that we just needed to buy more licenses. We got the runaround from this "good guy" for another month on his forums. He would not pick up the phone a call so we good give him more of our money even though we left him all the contact information he needed. We had to delete and reenter clients, playing a shell game because we were out of licenses. When we took him to task in the forum he banned us. If this is you definition of a good guy I would hate to see what a jerk is by your definition.

It's like the staff there make up reasons to ban people, which is lame because we're the ones that make that forum active and productive. Sucks because i've sold soo many domains there, and then they screw me like this.

I think as his Adwords success has swelled his bank account, his ego has inflated along with it.
He needs to take care of his customers, despite how rich and famous and successful he's become, sell Optigold to someone who will service the considerable client base, or release the code into the public domain.

Shawn is not a "good guy" he built his capital off of Optigold ISP, which in its time was a decent billing software, now there is no support for customers that have spent THOUSANDS on it. He used that money to build what he has with Adwords. We aren't due to repay him you idiot, he's due to repay US! - NinthSwat, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1We paid $11700 in optigold licenses.
However there is no way to reach support. From that point its laywer's problem now. But beware guys, DP does not care anymore.
