- jriggs420, on 02/26/2008, -2/+136Now, if we can just get it to write lame comments, we'll have eliminated the need for humans on digg altogether.
- wiifm69, on 02/26/2008, -3/+95no, that was I while ago
- cledford, on 02/26/2008, -5/+63Cool - Dugg and installed.
- motang, on 02/26/2008, -2/+42Damn it doesn't work on Firefox 3 Beta 3.
- theMADone, on 02/26/2008, -1/+36i dont mean to be standoffish, but you are preaching this to whom? this is digg, probably the last place on the internet that needs warning against the evil of poorly coded slow m$ products.
- canthraxp, on 02/26/2008, -1/+32That's a great %s

NameError: name 'thread_subject' is not defined - nexus37, on 02/26/2008, -3/+30I used to be a hardcore MS user and resisted the other browser options. After several years I finally tried Firefox and I love it. I think its faster and there is a lot of cool add-ons that can enhance your surfing pleasure. Trust me, let go.
- macatizor, on 02/26/2008, -1/+24It's been available for this long and I haven't noticed it? I've been missing out on life here!
- madeingermany, on 02/26/2008, -2/+23have you tried disabling the compatibility check? Most Extensions work I hear...
http://just-thinkin.net/2008/02/firefox-3-beta-3-d ... - ycohain, on 02/26/2008, -1/+21replaces the smart digg button extension I've had (and used frequently) for a while.
- sockpuppets, on 02/26/2008, -5/+22Now we can ignore twice as many of your submissions!
- cesclaveria, on 02/26/2008, -0/+17probably thats true for the average digg user, but since this site is trying to attract a larger diversity of users (not only geeks like us) this is a good advice that should remain visible.
- cawpin, on 02/26/2008, -2/+19I wish I could install it. I'm running FF3b3.
- Antyrael, on 02/26/2008, -3/+19Meh, doesn't say it supports Firefox 3 (Beta) yet, and I can't be bothered to hack it to see if it really does work. Looks neat - I'll try it once I can just single-click to install. :P
- wellyuk, on 02/26/2008, -2/+17Has Reddit got a Firefox extension? No, it doesn't. ***** you Reddit!
- anotherjeff, on 02/27/2008, -0/+14A think so too.
- theaceoffire, on 02/27/2008, -3/+16 That was I good point.
- inactive, on 02/26/2008, -1/+13I just installed this and it works like a charm. Install & Restart. I also use SEO Quake and Social Media for Firefox, these are also great tools for social networking
- mistergoomba, on 02/26/2008, -0/+11apparently my gmail page has 2 diggs
- neosublime, on 02/26/2008, -1/+12"What the hell is a foxfire?"
- vypergts, on 02/26/2008, -1/+10I would install it but I don't want my employer to think that I spend all day looking at digg. Oh wait... crap.
- orbingpunk, on 02/26/2008, -0/+9Good luck installing a firefox toolbar in IE.
- LordSkywalker, on 02/26/2008, -2/+10And if you would like to have a digg button at the top of every article, check this out. I love it.
Digg It Later: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/7864 - evil-doer, on 02/26/2008, -1/+8so how does this work anyways? does it send every single page you view to the digg website to look up if its been submitted? seems to have some privacy issues if so. or do you have to manually check?
- AdHaR, on 02/26/2008, -0/+7Get nightly tester tools
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/654 ... - Raptor007, on 02/26/2008, -1/+7I found one that I like better, Smart Digg Button:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/487 ...
Not quite as feature-packed, but it has the basics and it resides in a much less obnoxious place. - madeingermany, on 02/26/2008, -2/+8That's pretty handy. Finally people won't have an excuse any more that they couldn't see if they submitted a dupe ;)
What I'm still missing is a good way to track replies to my comments.
There is http://www.neaveru.com/digg/ and I wrote perl script that does pretty much the same running in a cron, so I can see it on a mobile phone that doesn't support javascript much. But what I'd really like would be a Firefox Extension :) - Eisen4, on 02/26/2008, -2/+8It uses 'D' as it's alt hot key. Removing... I'd rather have the address bar shortcut.
- madeingermany, on 02/26/2008, -0/+6it works automatically, so yes - it does query the digg API for every page you visit.
If you don't trust digg to not log those failed queries, you should not use this Extension.
I would welcome a blacklist feature added to the Extension, so I could exclude my companies Intranet, etc. - MAGZine, on 04/22/2008, -2/+7How about compatibility with Firefox 3.0b3? Now I have to open up the extension manually, and edit the maxversion key so it will work
-sigh- - nindustrial, on 02/26/2008, -1/+6Great app, love the fact that it shows you old stories from the same page
- amirman, on 02/26/2008, -0/+5true dat. i'd like to see it work on the status bar.
- OneLess, on 02/26/2008, -4/+9I've already got 100 meg worth of extensions and the Digg iGoogle widget, so I'm going to have to pass for the sake of my own sanity.
- spudlyo, on 02/26/2008, -0/+5I really enjoy this comment tracking page.
http://garycarstensen.googlepages.com/comments7.ht ... - zomfg, on 02/26/2008, -0/+5curse your beta 3!!!!!
- doshindude, on 02/27/2008, -1/+6"IT'S A VIRUS DELETE IT!"
- stonedslacker, on 02/27/2008, -2/+7Goddimn Daggers.
- Raptor007, on 02/26/2008, -1/+6This is nice, but I'd rather it be somewhere other than the menu bar.
- deinspanjer, on 02/26/2008, -0/+5You could just install the Nightly Build Tools and disable compatibility checking in order to install it. Afterward you can turn checking back on if you prefer and just force it to be compatible.
- TeleKawaru, on 02/27/2008, -0/+5if you go to your firefox profile folder and look for this dir:
extensionsdiggfirefox@mozilla.orgcontent
you can edit the overlay.xul file to change the binding. I changed mine from D to I since I use ALT+D constantly for address bar.
My changed line look similar to this:
menu id="digg-menu" label="Digg" insertbefore="helpMenu" accesskey="I" - Bentis, on 02/26/2008, -0/+5Or just use Ctrl+L...
- jrblaze, on 02/26/2008, -2/+7Please update this Extension to work with Firefox 3.0b3
- slamm71, on 02/27/2008, -0/+5It won't let you submit stories from itself. Trust me, I've tried :)
- mimilena, on 02/27/2008, -0/+5And now that you have that extension, you can miss out even more on life.
- SevasTraSi, on 02/26/2008, -1/+5Saddest thing is that the firefox default google page has 6 diggs . Oh and there goes all productivity with the "random article" button.
- BlogCrawler, on 02/27/2008, -0/+4Just when I thought I couldn't waste any more employer paid time on Digg. Love the extension.
- borez, on 02/27/2008, -0/+4?
/sarcasm - iofthestorm, on 02/27/2008, -0/+4Please stop whining or learn to beta test properly, betas aren't for people to just complain about, believe it or not, they're actually for the developers to get some testing done. Get nightly tester tools or add the about:config entry extensions.checkCompatibility and set it to false.
- Hortinstein, on 02/27/2008, -0/+4i pride myself in a minimal firefox....but this made my bar easy
only other one is google browser sync - AdHaR, on 02/26/2008, -0/+3https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/654 ...
