- jzahra, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Daemon tools does the trick nicely.
- joshpeek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yea, Daemon is the best. Especially if the ISO has copy protection.
- xN8x, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I still use alcohol 120%.
- teamparadox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Microsoft has quite a few little tools that are free, work great but are unsupported.
- lerch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wow, very cool. Microsoft can do some good things once and awhile :P
- MegaMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's too bad they don't include a lot of these little tools in the operating system by default.
I know it would add a few new things to support but honestly it would make Windows feel a lot better. I know a lot of things like this tool, TweakUI, Open Command Line Here, Calculator Powertoy, etc. would be nice additions by default. - BangoSkank, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I use Alcohol 52% and I love it. This does not work as well, but it sure does the job. This is a great digg.
- MSDommell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0im stickin with alcohol 120%
- rousehouse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I use it all of the time. It's great. ;P
- nuxx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i'll stick to alcohol 120%
- cell-gfx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is a terrible tool. Compared to Daemon Tools, it's useless. One big bugbear - you have to run the program each time you want to unmount/mount something. It doesn't just sit in the system tray for easy access. This can be quite trying. One plus, it does work in Windows 2000...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Wow, extremely easy to use and plenty useful. For once Microsoft gets something right, even if it is fairly small, and they hide it.
- lollerskates, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why do they drop or hide all the cool things?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0So? I can mount my He-Man action figure on the shelf better than I can this ISO mounter. [/inane trolling]
This is cool. They should build this into the OS in the first place. Then we'd have no need of Daemon or Alcohol except for specialized reasons. - n3tfury, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0"lol so h@x0rish"
your over abundant use of that work should net you a fine woman. - [Lep], on 10/12/2007, -1/+0http://digg.com/software/XP:_Small,_Free_Way_to_Use_and_Mount_Images_(ISO_files)_Without_Burning
I prefer Daemon Tools. - georgelogy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Digman, what are you, ten years old now? I'd be surprised because you act like you're 4 and you just learned a new word. Go away.
- MikeSavior, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I don't mean to rain on your parade, but this is a dupe.
- digman, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0lol so h@x0rish
- pinc, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0OLD OLD NEWS and DUPLICATE
