- pepemt, on 05/13/2008, -4/+45who is Chris and his army of spammers?
- aburd, on 05/13/2008, -2/+15This really is the spammiest spam in spamtown
- thedragon4453, on 05/13/2008, -2/+11Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and bury this. Take that, bastards!
- inactive, on 05/13/2008, -2/+8Ohh great, a super list for self-important assfunnels so they can quickly access and organize all of the worthless nonsense they've contributed. It's getting ridiculous now with people posting on friend feed about the post they made on twitter about what they've posted on facebook.
This is the same stupid ***** like those webrings from web 1.0. None of this is new and exciting, and it's just as unoriginal and douchey as before. - estvir, on 05/13/2008, -1/+7Or maybe it's because we don't like fake Diggers and spammers?
- fkr3, on 05/13/2008, -0/+6That's quite a recipe you've got there. You must have had quite a few adventures perfecting it....
- aetherboy, on 05/13/2008, -0/+6Want to know who is spamming? My guess is that its "Kolbe Market Consultants" which is owned by Barbara Kolbe who is shown to have Dugg a lot of the spam comments up.
This isn't the first time I've caught her doing this ***** either. While she doesn't have a phone number, try using the contact form at: http://kolbemarket.com/about/ to let her know how you feel about being spammed. If you read the description of her services she seems like a VERY likely culprit for this.
And be sure to bury this story. - inactive, on 05/13/2008, -0/+4goodbye again...asstunnel,,,
- iCallShotgun, on 05/13/2008, -4/+8Wow, these comments suck.
- inactive, on 05/13/2008, -1/+4WTF????
- vault, on 05/13/2008, -1/+4You've got some issues...
- inactive, on 05/13/2008, -2/+5Wow I've just blocked the first ten users for their ***** spamming.
- inactive, on 05/13/2008, -0/+3i was thinking of telling you to get a girlfriend, but on second thought, you need to get a life...and some psychiatric help..
- spammishking, on 05/13/2008, -1/+3crap this douche bag is back again....
- cbergeron, on 05/13/2008, -0/+2lame.
- detoxdiet, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1Chris, unlike the negative comments, I digg you, man. I am also an Internet Marketer, so birds of a feather flock together I guess. People are using social media marketing to get on top of the search engines. Everyone knows that and it is OK. I too, have a blog at http://googletrafficsource.blogspot.com that enhances and confirms what Chris is saying. I am sorry for those who just use social media websites to just chat and make friends. While that is OK, some of us have to make a living doing what we love.
- cbergeron, on 05/13/2008, -0/+1Someone to be buried and blocked forever.
- MtheoryX, on 05/13/2008, -0/+1In other words, you bookmarked it, right?
- pault107, on 05/13/2008, -0/+1Troll. Blocked, reported. He makes the same comment over and over again:

- SunAlex, on 08/28/2008, -0/+0something interesting.

- ats314, on 05/13/2008, -8/+8Excuse my rant here, but I just can't stand some of this hyped up social media *****. I know a lot of people who think LinkedIn or Facebook are going to net them all sort of amazing connections and lead to wealth beyond their dreams. In reality, 90% of the people on there are recruiters or other sales type people who become obsessed with building the largest "network".
- inactive, on 05/13/2008, -2/+1Yes, submit to the group. The herd mentality of todays youth is scary.
- cbergeron, on 05/13/2008, -5/+4Holy *****, when I first read that, i thought it said ChrisBergeron.com
It's quite scary seeing your name (including the .com part) on the top of digg and thinking, WTF did I do now?!?
I got slashdotted by surprise a few years ago. The last thing I needed was to get overdugg.
Glad it's not my site. - brandonchicago, on 05/13/2008, -5/+3"compendium"? I smell business *****.

- dcmusicfusion, on 05/13/2008, -13/+2Rock on! Very sweet! Thanks to Chris for compiling this.
- stupidpoo, on 05/13/2008, -14/+3Nice list of social Media resources. Thanks Chris
- tibbon, on 05/13/2008, -13/+3Apparently if you say anything positive about Chris you're getting buried. That's too bad since he really is a nice guy and knows his stuff. That's Digg for you I guess. Groupthink at it's best.
- bhod, on 05/13/2008, -11/+0gobama!
- ShannonRenee, on 05/13/2008, -13/+2This is an awesome list, especially for a newbie like myself. The one piece that's missing, social media/community/blog/podcast conference & unconferences, unless that already exists somewhere, does it?
- biggsuccess, on 05/13/2008, -13/+2Chris is a rock star!
- groone, on 05/13/2008, -15/+4Some good stuff in there. It was worth a digg.
- GenXDerek, on 05/13/2008, -14/+2Nice resource. Thanks Chris for organizing all this good information.
- rosepena, on 05/13/2008, -14/+2great resource, thanks!
- nicheprof, on 05/13/2008, -18/+7This is a great collection of Chris's insights into social-media and is worthy of being a reference for you to return to when you are tracking down any related materials or seeking answers.
- Klessblog, on 05/13/2008, -15/+4If Howard Stern is the King of all media, Chris Brogan is the King of Social Media! He provides a real service to the community by collecting and sharing his insights on social media. Start here to jump on board!
- soniasimone, on 05/13/2008, -17/+5Chris Brogan gets what makes social media "social" better than anyone, and this is a great little pocket guide to a whole hell of a lot of solid information.
- mwilton, on 05/13/2008, -13/+1This is definitely a great resource to keep for future reference. Has a lot of good information. Very well organized and compiled in a way that's easy to follow.
- BTM08, on 05/13/2008, -14/+1Here is a new one that is intent on replacing the "Brittany Spears" non news media. http://www.BreakTheMatrix.com
- jroque, on 05/13/2008, -15/+2wow. if content is still king then he's got his own little kingdom.
great stuff here. - ThatBitchBetty, on 05/13/2008, -15/+1Chris is saving our startup $ thousands of dollars that we would have otherwise spent on "consulting fees." Thank you so much for doing what you do, it's helping me "the entrepreneur" a great deal!!
