- Gooooogler, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1Usng an desktop email client is actually a very good way of preventing Yahoo login problems as well as phishing. Found this interesting article http://www.ghacks.net/2009/10/11/yahoo-mail-login/

- crazyworld, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There's this program called YahooPOP's! but they've recently completed their namechange to YPOP's! and it basically does the same thing but just for Yahoo. It's been around for awhile though. Nice little program. Give the page a second to load though.
http://yahoopops.sourceforge.net/ - Kakalaka, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Beware... if you use hotmail or yahoo to keep emails on the servers.. and then download... they dissappear from hotmail... dont know about yahoo
- AAA-, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I have been waiting for this forever!!! Not being able to check hotmail (without additional applications) was the only thing holding me off thunderbird!
BTW gmail also allows you to use it as pop3 email. - ahmerhussain, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0gmail already has pop3
- p3ngu1n, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0you can configure it to keep the messages on the server.
- Bandito, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice plugin, but am I missing something? Is this _just_for_Incoming_Mail? SMTP doesn't work? Not much on the extensions site in way of SMTP settings needed. I'll play around with it.
- Tacomagi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This plugin doesn't even install! Cmon guys get with the program. I guess I need to ditch the hotmail account, anything to get away from Big Brother!
- riot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Bandito... use your ISP SMTP server
ie mail.comcast.net - sondosia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ARG!!! Not compatible!!
Why, why, WHY can't people update their extensions??? - OctoSize, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0yahoo pops (Ypops) is extremely lame in comparison to FreePops
http://freepops.org/
Hopefully this extension will entirely replace it :D - GordonX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0now we can all finally dump MS clients and still use old hotmail accounts
- sahaskatta, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1sorry 2 break the news, but you don't need an extension to check gmail!
