- mightysquid, on 10/12/2007, -3/+20Seriously why the Del.icio.us hate?
It's pretty simple to use and it works as advertised. I like it.
Sure there are alternatives. Everyone has their own preference for software. You like something else better, fine.
I just haven't heard a good reason for all the hate. - ZaNkY, on 10/12/2007, -8/+17Maybe this is a good article? Is everything that they Digg INSTANTLY bad? Leave them alone, cause if so this is a terrible article and you shouldn't read it. Yeah that's right, top users Dugg it so DON'T YOU DARE read this article.
Personally I don't care who diggs it. I like this article, and I will digg it and Read it. Period. - bram, on 10/12/2007, -12/+18Must have been submitted by one of the top Digg users who are in the "Digg Cult".

Don't let heathuff bother you. I happen to know him and he is going thru a hard time right now. His mom said she is going to start charging him rent to live in her basement and he is only 43 years old. - d2nd, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7heathuff clone: take a cue from being banned, racist speech will not be tolerated here. While i dont think your initial ignorant comment was worthy of ban (if that was the only reason you were banned), I do think you are a moron.
You and your "16 accounts" are not welcome here, leave now. - koregaonpark, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9What's with the racism? I'm not getting paid for this and snide comments about events that lead to the deaths of my countrymen is just plain sick. Get a life, or a girlfriend.
- wisenheimer, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7"Power user", my ass. This article is an intro to del.icio.us' basic feature set. Worse than that, they don't even mention playtagger. Lame.
- Atomic1fire, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4mrrockabilly does make sense
in a slang term way
dont hate the software
hate the point of use - webonics, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I am a Flock user too and love the innovation in the browser. I used to use Del.icio.us, but switched to Shadows because I prefer the interface and the groups on the site. Fortunately, Flock offers the same integration for Shadows as it does for Del.icio.us.
I found this article lacking in real substance and it could really be applied to most of the numerous social bookmarking systems in the market not just Del.icio.us. - d2nd, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6koregaonpark dont let some ignorant digg users get to you. they dont know what happened on july 11 (7-11)
heathuff reference to 7-11 is regarding the american convenience store, many of which have indian employees. i dont think he realized others would take it differently.
brown is becoming the new black in america. expect the ignorant hate to grow - sansbury, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Stumbleupon is a waste of your own time. With delicious it's easy for you to waste other peoples' time as well.
- danielg, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5The article failed to mention that delicious buttons can be added to the Opera browser as well.
See this: http://erlang.no/?p=14 - ceralor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4OK what the hell. Ever since the two posts about digg users and cult and gaming the front page, everyone's been accusing right and left. This isn't congress people.
- CoreBurn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I use both, Google Bookmarks for when I want to save something fast, and delicious when I save something I think someone else might be interested in since Google's bookmarks aren't really social. Also with delicious it's a great resource for finding things other people with similar interests have saved, but damn it can be slow sometimes.
- raynevandunem, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Flock (the Firefox spinoff that everyone loves to hate on) has del.icio.us integrated directly into the browser. Just make sure that you're logged in, click the blue star on the URL bar, and you have whatever page saved online automatically (with no pop-ups, mind you).
If there was ever a saving grace for a browser, that should be it. The online bookmarking extensions (del.icio.us, MyWeb, GBookmarks, Ask.com "My Stuff", etc.) that they have for Firefox simply don't compare to Flock's implementation. - sansbury, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Gentlemen! You can't fight in here, this is the War Room!
- Atomic1fire, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2delicious allready got my vote on bookmarks
and netvibes/goowy (i dont use goowy mail often) replaced google as my start page/s
gmail i still use (like i said about goowy) - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -13/+14supernova17 (359) +

= Homepage - gd007, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1how come del.icio.us cannot distinguish http://www.funnydomainnames.com/ from http://funnydomainnames.com/?
- etcetera, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Second'd. It's a great feature.
The del.icio.us buttons/plugin adds some features for tagging though. - justedel, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Hey, delicious is a great tool, stop hating - I like it much better than Google Bookmarks.
- KhaaL, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Can anyone explain the diffrence between del.icio.us and stumbleupon?
- neofactor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2This article is a how-to for lamers. Anyone who uses it figured all of this out the 1st week.
Marked as Lame. - yahoofrom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I wonder... which to choose
singular tag or plural tag? - linuxpenguin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2. . . but I'm already a delicious power user, aren't I?
- revolved, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i've been using Blinklist.com for online bookmarks, etc. couldn't be easier to use.
- nthdegx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's a good summary of delicious's main features. Has anyone tried using del.icio.us as a contacts management system? Link to a contact's personal or business site and add contact info in the description field. Tick "do not share" and tag for your life. Disadvtantages: muddies up your nice list of links with contact info. Advantages: with clever tagging, this is perhaps the fastest, most flexible contacts system I can think of.
- koregaonpark, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Becauase it's dupe proof, unlike Digg at the moment.
- mightysquid, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2What features would you like?
- justinwhitaker, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2http://del.icio.us/help/feedback
There you go. Tell them what would make it suck less.
Personally, I like it as it is. - justinwhitaker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You should tell lifehack about that. Brilliant!
- Kailash.Nadh, on 10/12/2007, -12/+11What is this place coming to. Such lame stories, bury.
- tablatronix, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Ive been trying to be a delicious power user for almost a year now, but for some reason im still not. I think it has something to do with its incredibly lacking features.
Delicious could be 100% better than it is if it implemented a few key features or fixed a few things.
Oh and if they had somewhere you could suggest how to make it not suck. - duck1123, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1done and done
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -10/+6Don't hate the player, hate the game.
- DiggedBy, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3no one bitched about the mentions of IE yet... seriously though, why would anyone using del.icio.us still be using IE?
- mightysquid, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3@MrRockability
Sure. That makes perfect sense. Thanks. - r2builder, on 10/12/2007, -15/+9koregaonpark overall ranking - 111
I wonder if he's getting paid for this? - llbbl, on 10/12/2007, -13/+6google bookmarks is alot quicker than del.icious
- GalacticCmdr, on 10/12/2007, -21/+8Because Google already does not know about your habits.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -26/+12del.icio.us sucks for storing bookmarks online-if u want to store your bookmarks online and want easy navigation use google bookmarks
- heathuff2345, on 10/12/2007, -16/+1@ koregaonpark,
funny how my heathuff account was disabled right after I posted a comment about you working in a 7-11...that just proves that the digg theory is right how your cult controls what is and what is not posted on the front page...this lame story made the front page with 40 diggs and no comments.
awww did I offend you and your habibian friends that bad that you disabled my account?...that's OK-I have 16 other accounts-I'm sure this one will be banned to because I'm posting this but oh well, I'm just going to post an article exposing how a group of people control what can and cant be said or posted-thanks
OK, you can go back to serving your Slurpee's - redforty, on 10/12/2007, -23/+640 Diggs, no comments, and on the front page? mmhmm...
anyhoo'
+Digg 'cause I use it! - Topher06, on 10/12/2007, -22/+3Who? Google?
