- benshariff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Why would the authorities take your camera? Just curious.
- MicroBerto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I nkow it's a bit late to comment, but this program just saved me. I'm sure I could have found the freeware by googling, but google is so spam-ridden that it was nice to have a link to some freeware that got me my files!
Thanks! - ahill7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Really good guide. I had a USB drive that had alot of irreplaceable photos and documents from a trip about 3 years ago that I assumed was corrupt or something after I removed the USB without "Stop Hardware" first. They weren't gone, and were fully recovered in less than 10 minutes.

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1The hands down best application for recovering files on any hard drive or flash drive (or camera card, etc) for Mac is FileSalvage. Saved me time and time again. http://www.SubRosaSoft.com
- daldredge, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I have done so, not in NYC mind you, and I have not gotten into any trouble.
