HOLY ***** THAT IS SOME ***** ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY RIGHT THERE. - Himself, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1the next release of Azures will sport most of these features.
An extension is silly. This should be its own XUL application - Surreal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Well, it uses bittorrent capabilities... so it's kind've true. You don't have to be online if someone sees a file you are sharing if a friend of yours has it too.
- djspike, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sounds Interesting enough... wasn't Opera supposed to have bit-torrent capability?... or is this a totally different thing....
- emaf37, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0So what's the legal issues with this? Will I be able to trade my music and videos without the **aa knocking at my door?
- jasonhazel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0the "without uploading" statement seems false. in order for anyone that isn't sitting right behind you to see anything, you'd have to upload it.
- Alt1ma, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0the other one's a dupe, don't digg it, this one was out 14 hours earlier
- xodex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lol @ thetorbjorn
- lego, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If you don't want the RIAA knocking on your door, don't share their music. It's really that simple.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this is right above the exact same story

yes, Opera for the Mac has bit-torrent capabilities. not too customisable, but if you just want to download something, it's good enough. Opera hasn't (to my knowledge) released this for the PC version. they planned on doing so, but only did it for the Mac so far.
this feature is nice and all, but please fix that RAM/CPU problem first. Opera is an IRC client, RSS reader, mail app and web browser in one (with several built-in features which you would have to download separately for FF), and STILL uses less resources compared to FF.
i get the impression the FF people aren't feeling pressured to improve the browser just yet, just because they have a huge fan base now. "our users aren't going anywhere soon, so we'll fix it when we feel like it".
anyway, kudos to AllPeers... - timewarrior, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Actually this is the original http://www.digg.com/software/AllPeers_Firefox_=_Ture_IE_killer_
Shows how dupers take advantage of spelling - jmccorm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"tetsing phase"
- gotamd, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I'd rather have a dedicated client. Firefox already uses too much RAM.
