Alexa is a complete pile of crap. Yea...download the toolbar and see what other pile of goodies you get added to your machine.

yet another lifehacker article - andhrizz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Well, many spyware detectors say Alexa is a spyware. But in view it is indispensable. I am using alexa toolbar since in launched in 1998. Moreover my net enabled pc is not having such a content of interest for someone in CIA :) For that matter as a businessman I am spending a lot of amount to let world know that I exist, so if alexa do it for me I am more happy about it. Finally I recommend Alexa toolbar for its functionality. But if you want more than web analytics better use a toolbar from www.stumbleupon.com and from day one you will know that you have another addiction next to Digging into Internet :)
