Goddamnit, some people are uninformed. - iamsergio, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9I had 3 dead pixels, i run the program for 10 hours and two of them are fixed now, but i can't get the third one to resurrect, i think he already gone to hell or something :P
- iamsergio, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6http://digg.com/technology/How_to_Fix_a_Dead_Pixel_on_an_LCD_Monitor is about using a cloth to remove stuck pixels and it might make more stuck ones.
I think using a program is a much better solution. - nichos, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Mac/Linux version:

just play that in a loop over the stuck pixel - same thing. Why install software? - krusbjorn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Oh the link ;)
http://www.psp-vault.com/Article168.psp - dj_sea2005, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5im going to download this and use it. i dont have an LCD screen. i just want to give myself a seizure so i can get the next week or so off college.
hehe - coldsteel, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3.22cal works every time .
- spidermanfreak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1my problem is half of my LCD is just all white will this fix it?
- melonzman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I have quite a few stuck pixels on my plasma screen. About 200-300 (I got it cheap because of this) They're normally green but if the picture is dark it turns black with the background. Do you think this program would work if I hooked up my pc to the tv? It has a vga port if that makes any difference (dunno if colors would be lost going through svideo/composite).

- znxster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1^^ elitexero absolutely..
DEAD = dead - Kazanoe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm waiting for it to work, 2 hours on the same pixel so far, but it gives me an excuse to not let my sister on the comp, so I'll keep it going and give it a digg ;)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1In this app the moving pixels should start in a place in the application and then be moved so you can only do one pixel like it is suggesting this way you don't take the risk in loosing more!
- dori, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1if it crashes at the beginning you probably need to download the .net framework...
if you know how to READ it says it on the download page - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Mac/Linux version:

Wow, more like siezure waiting to happen. - Norseman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1When I run this, my whole screen changes color. Is that normal?
- Ashenfield, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Heh...Found no stuck pixels...but man...It sure showed me how dirty my monitor is.
Got a software that cleans LCD's?
But hey...Dig for a handy tool.... - Wrathernaut, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Stuck Pixel = White/Green/Red/Blue
Dead = Black - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1worked great!
- sidyadav, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Just to anyone who doesn't understand, this is just like how you can't bring back a person from the dead -- you can't bring back a dead pixel. However, just as you have *a chance* (however much or little that might be) of healing a sick person, you can fix a stuck pixel.
- MonkeyFit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Two and a half years on my Samsung LCD and not a single stuck pixel. Of course, I have 3 on my DS. I don't suppose anyone knows af a version for the DS? I'm willing to hack it if i need to.
- styleismylife, on 07/25/2009, -0/+0dead
- krumbimilian, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0mmm.. I got one stuck/dead. I dunno.. well ,it appears red on white background, and does not appear at all on black background.. does that mean it's stuck?
- Lil0ne, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0nice it fixed a stuck blue one in under 5mins :)
-- Lil0ne. - crazyfan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Anyone get this too work?

-jeffrey - CarbineGuy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0HOW DO I DOWNLOAD ON THIS SITE?

- crazyfan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I mean, did this program fix anyones LCD? here?
- mjg7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0JScreenFix is a Java applet that randomly turns on and off every colour component on the screen at up to 60 times a second.
Because it is a Java applet it will run on almost anything.

- johnbizz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I managed to fix mine in just few minutes - like 20-30. I don't know if it is the same version of the software, but it seems to work better. For those with problems try to download it from http://fixdeadpixels.tk

- Clive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I read some where that if you press down with a pencil eraser on a dead pixel hard, then it will go away. It worked for me anyways.
- Coreguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0dugg
Because i am using a LCD - bob645, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I was skeptical about this.
I actually worked.
dugg - ratlhead, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I've tried everything to get fix the two stuck green pixels I have on my Panasonic LCD television. I'm going to try running this for a couple hours and see what happens, but I'm not getting my hopes up. All these "
"solutions" for stuck pixels that people keep digg'in never seem to work. - t0ny, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I have bright area in my laptop's lcd screen can there be anything done for this?
- mydhe, on 02/02/2008, -0/+0anybody can explain step by step how to use this program..? 'cause no 'HELP' include
- amwmedia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You can fix a dead pixel if it's "only MOSTLY dead" If it's all the way dead, all you can do is check it's pockets for loose change ;-).
- Andrew - deadpixel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'M NOT DEAD!!!
i'm just resting :)
http://deadpixel.deviantart.com/ - mathew_bug, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm giving it a shot...maybe 24 hours in a row
- bmarc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Running it on my PC at home now, will see when i get back from work if its fixed my stuck px.
- schrags, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Worked perfect... only took about 8 minutes on 1 of my pixels suck on green. Haven't tried the others yet.
- Dabellah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"I had 3 dead pixels, i run the program for 10 hours and two of them are fixed now, but i can't get the third one to resurrect, i think he already gone to hell or something :P"
This made me laugh out loud... Damn funny - leobaby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0
You may not be able to fix a dead pixel, but you can fix a dead squirrel....
