- dreamache, on 05/15/2009, -0/+11The major downfall to all of these "note" sites where you store your ideas / brainstorms online, is an issue of privacy. The site developers have access to any ideas / todo's / brainstorms you have. Sure, if you're just using it to store tidbits of todo's, fine.. but the first in the list "bubbl.us" as it's intended to store your ideas/brainstorms, screw that.
I'll stick with notepad files saved to my deskstop. - EvolvedAnt, on 05/15/2009, -0/+7I agree. Brainstorming your ideas to a third party website has got to be the most dangerous thing you could do.
Further, if those sites happen to suddenly go down, or even disappear.. there goes all your notes, ideas, and brainstorms. - Elranzer, on 05/15/2009, -0/+3I find that a PDA would be more useful than all of these sites put together. And your info isn't stored online, either.
Yes I said PDA, not smartphone. I still find them useful. You can find good pre-owned ones on eBay, and HP still sells new Windows Mobile-based units. A used Dell Axim x50v is a beautiful thing. - Elranzer, on 05/15/2009, -0/+2You haven't heard of them because they suck. The majority of them are Web 2.0 start-ups that are epic fail.

I tried it out and really, what's the point? There is a huge delay between actually adding a new idea and it showing up, the new idea button doesn't stand out in anyway from the rest of the menu, and it's hard to select and organize the ideas by topic.
Lame. - Flynnz, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1anyone else find that efax site a rip off? $16.95/month, + 0.10 for each outgoing fax.
seems kinda silly when you can get a used fax machine for like $10. - GeekNurse, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1This is what I use http://www.packetel.com/Fax/faxServiceMain.asp

- FleshJoe, on 06/07/2009, -0/+0I like the mind map site... not a bad way to organize thoughts and plan projects.
- inactive, on 05/15/2009, -4/+2Ditto -- several I hadn't heard of!
- zariat, on 05/15/2009, -2/+0this is an excellent list of tools for time management, as long as you spend your time mostly online...
- dancenew, on 05/15/2009, -4/+1it's very useful
- a30n, on 05/15/2009, -5/+0Great, thanks, you could include WebEx though that will take care for the most online sharing/meeting tools.
