Yea there's only 11 sites, and many are repeats (they are just clone or exact copy of other sites mentioned on the list). When they say "Watch TV online for free" what they ACTUALLY mean is "Watch a bunch of public domain and obscure crap that no one gives a rat's ass about for free." Might as well go to Youtube and watch teenagers get hit in the crotch. Or just say "screw it" and either pay for it at iTunes or download the stuff illegally at Pirate Bay.

low profile damn it low profile - TheBarge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I checked out a couple of these, including FreeTube, which seemed interesting. I did notice that a lot of the feeds of US-based cable channels (like HGTV and Food Network) we're not live at all. They were just streaming videos, not anything "live" about it. Not sure if this goes for the other channels or not. I may have to buy myself a SlingBox if I really want to watch live TV when I'm not at home.

- michaelpe2051, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2i have used tvu player for several months allthough their is some of the same chan. that are on my cable providor. i like it because they also provide foriegn content. call me crazy! but, i love to laugh at the chinese channels. its fun to see an american film dubbed into chinese. as far as copyright infringement goes. i dont know. one one hand the advertisers score because their message is getting out past the boundries of traditional tele. but, do the networks themselves gain anything from these types of programs? one thing is for sure. the resolution of these programs is a lot better than my dust covered 1996 rca xl-100 set. in 1970 we got our first coulour set. i thought that was a big deal. we only got 1 channel from lethbridge, ab and one channel from williston, nd. it just amazes me how much free content is available now on the net. say goodbye to me old colour set!!
