    You must have went to Best Buy. I went at 1 AM and barely got the $150 Desktop computer. Man I love Black Friday, I wish fights would break out over cheap crap everyday.

    Ive been to walmart twice, once voluntarily before I knew what it was like. The circle of poverty is sad to see. I bought my DS there at midnight of release day simply because they were the only place open. Perhaps maybe for the revolution.. but then agian I think I can wait.

    no we just saw people getting robbed as they exited stores with the 360. Violence is inherent nature to some people and its not based on any catagory

  • cheztir, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i was waiting in line for the $88 HP Digicam. (Very nice Btw) this one lady threw a fit because she was #10 in line and WalMart had 10 but 1 was purchased already. She was whinning while i was in line (~40 people in front of me), while i was paying, and about 5 minutes after i was done until one woman finally got fed up and punched her. Not like sissy punch, like all out punch. It was worth getting up at 4 for that.

    No, standing in line for hours in the freezing cold just to buy crappy electronics at somewhat lower prices, and then getting into a physcial confrontation with a person or persons over said piece of electronic device, makes you an IDIOT. And yes, I am worth more than that. I'll pay the higher prices, thank you.

  • blixel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I was down at Circuit City last night at 4 a.m. waiting to get in. Orlando area. They had the new model GameBoy SP with the brighter screen for $67. Plus it came with 2 games and a pair of wireless headphones. I thought it was a pretty good deal. I almost left though when I saw the crowd. It was pretty insane. But I'm glad I stayed. It was peaceful chaos. Just a lot of people moving about, but no one was fighting or yelling or anything like that. And the store had TONS of the GBA-SP's in stock so there was no issue with shortages. The new screen on these things is infinitely better than the old model. I'm quite pleased. I still have a collection of GBA games that I would rather play on the SP than my Nintendo DS because the SP is smaller, lighter, and the button configuration is better for GBA games.
