What do you mean you can't find the source? Here: http://www.schneier.com/twofish-download.html
This will also lead you in the right direction: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=twofish source code&btnG=Google Search
I'm not sure I understand what you meant by "only for show"... Twofish is used regularly by myself and others, and is included in these products: http://www.schneier.com/twofish-products.html - EruLabs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Blowfish hasn't, and Twofish is kinda only for shows, (meaning, i cant seem to find the source anywhere)
Just to let people know, its not the kind of reading john doe reads. Required skills include "mathematical programming in language such as C." - gwjc, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I still stand by amazing; if you know of someone more credible who's put forth a decent cryptanalysis self study guide/course - point us at it (and I'll probably call it amazing too). It's not _just_ a collection of citations to other books or papers.. and even if it was - so be it.. many University courses are the same way. School courses also request that you buy _all_ of _their_ books from them on top of paying them for the 'course'. Some of the material he references is a little obscure, granted, but much of it is freely available. Seriously though, if you find it lame.. point me at some better stuff, I'd sincerely like to see it.
- jay314, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Not really.. that just means someone like you with a BBA in CIS might need to get a few books on various mathematics topics, and a one or two good C programming books.
I'm not sure how anyone would expect to read and understand something entitled "Self Study Course in Block Cipher Cryptanalysis" without some basis in mathematics and algorithms.
If you are honestly interested in learning a topic, just start reading until you encounter something you don't understand. Then go study that thing and come back when you do understand it. That's probably how you got your BBA. It'll work for this too. - Alistair, on 10/12/2007, -5/+9No digg - Lame.
If you read the PDF, it is just a collection of citations to other books or papers, which you have to buy or have access to via library or collection... many of these books are not cheap!
Additionally, there is no "instruction" in this "course". It's just Bruce sharing his ideas on what books/papers to read in order to get started in Cryptanalysis.
I'd hardly call this bookmark list "amazing". - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7Bruce rules

I always wondered why twofish isn't included in products like openssh and openvpn, it's a way stronger cipher isn't it? - bs175, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No Digg, the author states the essentially a minor in math and good knowledge of C are required before cryptanalysis can even be studied : (
This means someone like me with a bba in CIS hasn't a prayer at learning this. - JimmyDushku, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Awesome description....CTU...lol SWEET!!
- Bhima, on 10/12/2007, -9/+5this is over *6* years old!
Still dugg 'cause it's interesting
I wonder if any of the ciphers he listed have been cracked - HackWithRamzi, on 10/12/2007, -11/+4Digg++ for the 24 reference!

What is Digg?
