We had a database, but it was 100% local to the store, not even shared between stores in the same city. The only data in the database was whatever customers told us over the phone. You call, we asked for a phone number and address. Next time you call, we ask for your phone number again. Assuming you give the same number, your record comes up.


    This is pretty far from the truth, at least on the commercial side.

The customer responds saying fine, he has the money already. and then later the guy says to make it quicker he can pick up the pizza while getting the money... or did I miss something.
