    They feel that this tiny little action will make them feel better (it does).
    Usually this is because of guilt from not actually caring or spending time with the person while they were alive. It could also relate to a specific event in the past.
    I think if they really did care about these people you'd see a lot more comments than a 14 day gap and all of a sudden 40 differen't "R.I.P."'s
    This is a lame cop out at actually going outside and showing some respect.
