Same!
/me adds list to company firewall - contentpig, on 10/21/2007, -6/+42no they don't.
network admins can't read - Yez70, on 10/12/2007, -5/+38"If you're not a terrorist you have nothing to hide." - man I hate that quote.
Of course, I'd just love the government to file some report that I may have visited a site on STD's, checked out a few new sexual positions and looked up the definition of orgy, found out what this book I heard on the news called Mein Kampf was, and all the pron I may or may not view. I could be labeled a sexual deviant NAZI with crabs?!?!
/end exaggeration
Privacy is Privacy - proxies are a tool to give you privacy. It's the same as having curtains on your windows. What you do in your own home and on your own computer is your business. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+36Network admins surf digg as well...
- titlesaysitall, on 10/12/2007, -5/+24The title fails to tell me the 300+ proxy sites. Very descriptive.
- jccstatus, on 10/12/2007, -5/+18This solves all my problems

oh and my school's filter has blocked every single proxy site i've ever found... (except babelfish) - brendandonhue, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9These are just unencrypted web proxies. The owners of these sites could still be monitoring/logging your passwords when you use them, and your ISP can see the traffic.
Try Tor for something closer to actual anonymity: http://tor.eff.org/ - Yez70, on 10/12/2007, -4/+11@drjborg
Ok, I'll send a bunch of kids over to watch you have sex with your wife then, since you're OK with an invasion of privacy. We need to make sure it's not rape...
/end sarcasm
Justiying an invasion of privacy, JUST IN CASE, someone breaks the law is just as unjust as breaking the law. This countries legal system is founded on one basic principle. Innocent until proven guilty. Just because the republican taliban has been ignoring this fact, does not make it any less true.
Don't even try saying we have to do it 'cuz of the terrorists. If we do, they've already won.
They took our privacy, they are continually taking and violating all of our freedoms and we've let our leaders help them and egg'd 'em on even more! Forget their propoganda and start thinking for yourself again! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8No effin Kidding. I'm sure there are probably morons out there that check their email, bank, paypal, ebay accounts through "free proxies"
WHY IS MY ACCOUNT EMPTY!!!!
DEE ,DEE ,DEE - Jakerius, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8How could this make it to the front page? There are about 30 stories submitted which are blog posts with proxy links EACH DAY.
- asdfasdf, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6WARNING: Most public proxy lists are HONEYPOTS run by the FEDS! If you are doing _anything_ that you think should be kept private, USE A REPUTABLE PROXY! or some other method (encryption).
- patience, on 10/12/2007, -8/+11How many of these are run/monitored by FBI/CIA?
These days of Patriot Act, nothing you do is secret.
Watch your surfing habits. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6A better list is here
http://www.antims.com/2006/04/15/blockzored/ - BlackSheepx, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5My school somehow has almost every single proxy I try and use blocked, even newly created ones or low key ones...rediculous. Hopefully some of these will work.

- patience, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5@knighblade: Hey stupid from Washington State.
Before you troll, make sure people can't EASILY find out who your are based on the WHOIS info on the site you own.
You are 16 (from another site) profile so I won't out you. Stop trolling dumb ass.
And don't use your digg name for your gmail and msn address. Thats just really stupid. - rizwanash, on 08/12/2009, -0/+1more list 100+
http://www.trickyways.com/2009/07/how-to-access-bl ... - Phil246, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5DONT LINK TO YOUR OWN ***** BLOG.
jesus christ, perhaps digg should ban all links with *blog* in them. - YouKnowHim, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Thanks, I'll have to inform all of network admins so block them.........................................................................not
- Voodooengine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Good list.
Some of these actually have SSL. I know for a fact that Stealth-Ip has it. - thatrez, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3google translator or babelfish always works for me.... japanese to english.. page has no japanese.... stays in english...
- scooter12, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3@BlackSheepx
Maybe they block all proxies in the hope that you will learn to spell "ridiculous" while at school instead of surfing myspace. - jriley101, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1This seems to be one of the new ones but picking up good momentum because it allows https and http surfing to all of the social networks: http://www.netklick.com
- moman, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Actually even by using any one of these sites, it is very easy to detect where you are browsing. Unless the "proxy-site" employs https to encrypt traffic between your pc and the proxy server, any sniffer (such as the network admin at your school or workplace) can easily see the contents of the request to the proxy server. These contents which are in plain text, fully contain the final destination which you are telling the proxy to retrieve and display. So all in all, unless there is encryption between you and your proxy server, it is pointless (it does mask determing where your going if someone looked at the destination ip of your request, but if they have that ability, they can also look at the payload)
- sTiVo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I haven't had a need to use free proxies for a long time, but if the proxy you are trying to use is blocked, find the IP address of the blocked proxy site and use that in the address bar. It's worth a try, anyways.
- PaulThompson, on 03/02/2008, -0/+1Browse the internet securely using Kip5.com. You can unblock popular social networking sites such as MySpace, Bebo, Facebook, YouTube, Orkut, Friendster and many other sites. Feel free to browse 24/7 and don't forget to tell your friends!
