http://www.myspaceproxy1.cn - jmonger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1TOR (tor.eff.org) is a great app for someone wanting to surf semi-anonymously. The network is slow at times, but it does its job.
- djisamsoe, on 01/21/2009, -0/+1nice proxy...thanks for sharing mate...
try this site...http://hidethisnow.info/ - indiancyborg, on 08/20/2008, -0/+1List of 500+ web proxies at http://mwolk.com - enjoy
- thecapitalizt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Tor's a lot better than any proxy list, because it's designed in every aspect to be secuure. It encrypts all of your data so that nobody at any stage can see where your info's going, and it will switch routes automatically every 10 minutes or immediately if one is broken.
- serpentor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Just get a freeshell and SSH, Links is great! Long live text web!

- thespurs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0use wget with --proxy and recursive suck dry an open porn website?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i had a proxie but it was crap. trust me, making other sxites think youre from south africa loses its amusement veeery veeeery quickly, cause they are so slow.
- PacoBell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That might work if the open proxy just let you use it like that, but I don't think the one I mentioned will. You have to go through its web interface =P
- thespurs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0useful for sure.. until you hit that one proxy that happens to be logging and an admin that is having a seriously bad day happens to notice your bandwidth stealing antics.. I know I've been there, as the admin that is.
- PacoBell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This one's fairly fast for simple web surfing: http://digg.com/links/ProxiFree_-_fast_and_reliable_web_proxy_keeps_all_your_web_surfing_private
- ibbryn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I can't get to these because they (and several other sites I want to access) are blocked by my company's SmartFilter.
Anyone have a link to procedures for getting around SmartFilter? - kebera, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The most important aspect of proxy servers is who is running it, because you are not anonymous from the people that run the server. You are not even anonymous to the websites you surf, because multiple page hits still come from the same browser session - a better term is "pseudonymous" meaning someone/something is hiding your identity for you.
EFF can be trusted to manage this sort of thing securely and with integrity, because of their public stance on privacy and security. (Even then, would you trust a proxy housed in a country as hostile to human rights as the USA? They could come and seize it and you anytime under the Patriot Act.) So, one must ask, what are the policies and political agendas of the server owners and admins and in what context do they exist? - Vision77, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Is anybody familiar with "JAP"? Give it a try. It can be configured to work with the TOR network. Let me know what you think. http://anon.inf.tu-dresden.de/index_en.html
- barbobot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Surfing with open proxies != anonymous
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0DANG A Proxy ive never heard before? seriously its nothing new and pretty worthless post
- thespurs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+099% of the ones on the publicproxyservers website will let you do that unfortunately! or fortunately depending where you sit.

All you need is a proxy server and the port number... go to internet options and configure your settings. Wow, that website is a total waste. They don't even provide a list of proxies for people to try.
- tjsocr1, on 01/24/2008, -0/+0Another good one is
http://www.proxynyc.com
And so far it's not blocked at school =) - discovery56, on 02/28/2009, -0/+0Large and veryfied list of anonymous webproxy links:
http://filtershekanlist.com - indiancyborg, on 05/18/2008, -0/+0Check http://mwolk.com/proxy_list , there are few which work for Bebo too
- indiancyborg, on 05/18/2008, -0/+0You can also check http://mwolk.com/proxy_list

it's free and fast - yunfeiquan, on 02/22/2008, -0/+0Best Proxy
8 language,43 servers,one key proxy plugin
http://www.web-php-proxy.com - PacoBell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That was a web proxy. How could one possibly steal copious amounts of bandwidth through one of those? In any case, that service is most definitely public, not "public" like most of them are.
- jeremydufur, on 11/02/2008, -0/+0this is a good proxy website
http://www.invisible-proxy.com - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Dude, thanks for that tor link, its brilliant and fast.
