    But lets assume that you're an idiot that didn't put on the processor fan and then you gave the processor WAY to much juice...worst case scenario it explodes and gets stopped by the metal casing of the computer.

    There is just nothing explosive enough in a computer to cause that sort of damage.

    Weekly World News charges for copies and doesn't tell people it's fake. Sometimes I think they don't know.

    Your processor won't explode and get stopped by the case. Worst case scenario is that a small burn starts at the center, and works its way outward, melting the chip to the board, lol. Sounds SCCCAAARRRYYYY. Oh, and your big tough fan and heatsink won't let it do that, right? If you went from say 1.35v to 5.0v, there's not much your heatsink can do except turn into a space heater.

    Electronics don't tend to work after you let the magic blue smoke out of them.
