- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5It means the GOVERNMENTis reading your mail.
- DarkEnder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I sent a fake e-mail to one of my friends and labeled the sender as himself. He thought his gMail got hacked and deleted all of his inbox.
- awilke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I got that too
- EternalDarkWing, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I got one of those e-mails too and I was a little worried. I thought someone logged into my Gmail at one of the computers at school and was messing with me.
- mayan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Wow. I thought it was just me. I have my university e-mail forwarded to my G-mail account and that wierd message was sent from my university e-mail.
Weird. - gsharma, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I sure got that... the message I got was generated from mpower.net (66.18.154.210)
The subject is: 557 and the body is: 969 - keysersoze1234, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1At first glace it appears to be a security breach. I.E. somebody has your password and can send messages from your account. Hence the usage of the word "apparent".
- andrewmin, on 11/12/2008, -0/+1So that's what that is.
- Jleagle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i got this but the 'sent time' was 30 minutes into the future which is odd
- schwal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i got it, but the 666 hacker thery is wrong, i got it 2 days ago. just text.
- anthonyp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's not just Gmail folks that are having this problem so it more than likely means it's the work of spammers. See for yourself as other non-Gmail users are receiving the same weird messages.
