- sunilrkarkera, on 10/12/2007, -0/+20How much was the initial lease?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14Well he obviously didn't get away with it. Those lease contracts are quite binding.
- truspector, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13Not sure, but I wish I could figure out how to unlease my car.
- uownedge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11I guess you can't unlease in the US.
- soapboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8a leased worm in an agricultural based county. No wonder it was so devastating....
- ewode, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9They should cut off both hands and pluck out his eyes after beheading him. Then send pieces by Fed Ex to Ted Stevens informing him that this is what happens to people that ***** with the pipes.
- neoknight, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6He got leased in didn't he.
"Morocco's most internationally famous criminal of late is not a terrorist or serial killer" Who was the previous most internationally famous criminal from Morocco? - SteelChicken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5one kid with a PC makes an entire country more digitial?
who comes up with this stuff? - crapple, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4At lease you could all stop being making pun of Giantapplecore.
- giantAppleCore, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It's starting to hurt my feelings, I feel tears coming on. =*(
- mandarin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3He's famous?
- hankyone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3been to morocco a couple of times and its true, morocco is far from being an agricultural based country
there is an internet cafe in almost every street lol - datastorageguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3"The conviction this week of a Moroccan science student for unleashing the Zotob worm that ravaged U.S. computer networks may be a sign that the agricultural-based county is becoming more digital"
Ahhh the "hacker indicator" for determining digitization of an economy....
/sarcasm - nmckinlay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2First, they should do that BEFORE they behead him,
and secondly.
They're tubes, not pipes :) - RonaldLewis, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3These guys should find more productive things to do with their time. There's already enough chaos in the world, why add to it? What a waste of talent.
- szanpan, on 03/19/2009, -0/+1it s not a thing to advertise i guess
- Hickeroar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I agree. People with the level of skill it takes to write a virus like Zotob could be donating thousands of lines of code to open source projects or otherwise. Or just writing helpful apps of their own. Instead he's in jail. It's really a pity and a waste.
- asabil, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Pffff, the one who posted this comment is really a moron, I am Moroccan, and it seems like he really knows anything about morocco, technology is widespread there, so revise your geography ... and learn more about the world ...
Also stop this ***** thing about terrorism, Moroccan are not terrorist, and then one you may be referring to is FRENCH, so stop the FUD>. - harris2004, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1he dam was famous...not by his name but for his actions..i remember the computers in my office shuttingdown every 59 secs..it was after the blaster worm
- wakazashi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1+dugg
that is horrible, funny, but horrible :) - muyuu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Yes, there are many internet cafes. Partly because DSL/cable is very poorly deployed (unaffordable for most of the population). It's an agriculture economy nonetheless, and with around half the population analphabet. It's really a stretch of the imagination to call Morocco a technological country.
This comment has nothing to do with terrorism, but yes, some of the terrorists from both 9/11 and Madrid 11M came from Morocco. Denial is not the answer. - SDE06, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This may be off-topic, but just to clarify:
Morocco is an Agricultural-based county with IPTV, DSL offerings from France Telecom that puts to Shame any U.S. Carrier... - HappyScrappy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Who?
If he really were famous, I would have thought I would have heard of him. - dfisheratt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0So many of these malware authors slip past authorities! At leased they got this one.
- leexy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2The article mentions that 3 years ago, a dial-up cost was 500$/month. That's non-sense. I used to pay 25$/month+local call cost for mine about five years ago.
I guess what the author may have been referring to Zacharia Moussaoui when talking about the most famous criminals/terrorists. He had a French passeport, but the media's always referring to him as "Moroccan", just to make sure the Arab stereotype is perpetuated. - porkstacker, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3I'm sure the interest rate killed him financially.
- uownedge, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1What I really want to know is....did he hack the Gibson?
- synwolf, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Infamous, one would think.
- fatnutz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0misspelt headline; NO DIGG! Go back to school.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2famous? never heard of this kid.
report as inaccurate!
