Not the whole developer center deal. - Jero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice list of useful recourses.
- brodie57, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This was on digg before, I remember reading this a couple weeks ago. Bizarre, does no one else remember that far back or am I smoking a crack pipe again?
- GutterBumber, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hey! AJAX only on DIGG! :P
- rodball, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Geocoder --> nice!
- ileadyouth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0*waiting for other programmers to come in and bash PHP, then fully support their language that can do no wrong*
Its getting easier and easier to predict the flow of comments on DIG. - dwclifton, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Rasumus has nice article on his Toys blog about building a simple MVC framework in PHP, and it uses the Yahoo! User Interface Library.
Overview here:

I really like their design Pattern Library, simply outstanding. I guess Yahoo and Google are on the same page in my books. - arTech, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Some people on digg constantly are worried about what makes it to front page and how many comments the story gets. It never fails. 160+ diggs maybe has something to do with it
- wonderbud, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0that looks interesting, i guess ill have to put cURL on my server, and compile it into php ...
- SilverRocket, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Outstanding indeed.
- indeh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's worth noting that Rasmus Lerdorf, the guy who originally created PHP, works (last time I checked) for Yahoo. Some of the articles on the linked page are by Rasmus. It shouldn't be surprising that Yahoo has some decent PHP resources, and it's good to see them putting a little extra out to the public.
- CaughtThinking, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yahoo knows how to talk to the people. Google likes to ignore the trees for the forest.
- neilpan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice one ... I am impressed by their Design Pattern's library... download the zip file for the code and you will see countless examples of stuff like "Tree structures" and "Drag and drop"..
Yahoo is coming back !
++ Digg - Nothlit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yahoo is certainly making a strong comeback against Google these days...

Digg - mutant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ruby -- jewel of insanity. When you hate freedom, choose Ruby. :D
- cbmeeks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0not bad. I wonder what caused them to do this?

RUBY ON RALES PWRNT PHP!!!!@&^$%@^ - m85476585, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is great because they recently added PHP support to their smallbusiness webhosting.
- lagerbottom, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I am not a php basher. I have done a fair amout of coding in it and it can be used properly. However I have to say this is not it. Essentially (if I am reading this correctly), you are giving a company free reign to execute arbitrary code on your web server. I don't think that is smart. And what is wrong with all the other available webservice platforms?
- flashmaster, on 10/12/2007, -3/+03 comments and this story makes it to the home page? comeon.
