- Toiling, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0most of those are old. come on give me some updated content!
Old as in incorrect. - stansky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How are you supposed to use them?
- txzman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0So 'Abestos' chasing scumbag lawyers are paying the most for Google ad keywords? Figures.
- txzman, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0So "Abestos" chasing scumbag lawyers are paying the most for ad keywords? Figures.
- mikehilb, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Here you go!
Search for mesothelioma in google, and click on the links and make the scumbag lawyers pay for the clicks, thats what I did. Merely a suggestion, I don't think you should really do it, because that would be wrong. Muhahahaha!
Diggers unite! - crashtd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0has anyone noticed that because of these phrases on his page, the creator of site has adsense ads for lung cancer and lawyers? now that's some smart www'ing
- saysaknow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Answer me something. How does this guy "know" this and can we trust him?
- lobbster, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0will this
make me money
on my blog
http://www.frontlinetech.com - meatmaker, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0my first thought was to do what mikehib did and make google some money and i think we all should do the same
- guna, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0I don't think all figures are right. I've seen these about 1 year ago. This seems like an old list. I can't believe "domain names" and "domain registration" are going for more than what the domains are selling for. Wonder how these guys make the money.

http://www.optimizationtips.com/blog/ - RationalBeaver, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2You think Digg.com will re-register for next year?
- bobdole369, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hmmm, seems like a WHOLE lot of companies are gonna pay through the nose tonight for absolutely nothing as digg users search and click on each of these. That is if this list is accurate.
- DoubleDigg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I would thing that if everyone who dug this clicked on one of these pay preclicks, it would cost tousands. I wonder how much the digg army could cost the top paying ad words, and would it effect the pay perclick industry any? hmmm think about it.
- DoubleDigg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0*think
- tharealmegaman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0$84? No way.
- TigerX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Tort Reform Now!
Oh, you mean this is a technology forum? Silly me. - BrandonAbell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Google can detect masses of clicks and won't bill the advertisers for fraudulent ones. You really won't cost anyone much money via the digg effect. Sorry.
- jpyun, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Jesus... lots of people are concerned about mesothelioma apparently.
- dwight0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i believe the prices, they seem pretty accurate, at least for refinancing. i have had to adjust my pay per clicks to around those prices for the ads to be shown.
- foulpudding, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1OK, so a test then. I've put up a blog with the content geared towards the "mesothelioma" keyword.
I'll let you all know as soon as I do what the results are. Theoretically, I should be able (assuming there are clicks on the ads) to tell tomorrow if these word costs are correct, since my blog earns about 17 cents every other day currently.
I'm sending whatever money this test brings in to charity. It's dirty money. But I'm curious to see if this list is correct.
Test blog link - Unimaxium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What exactly do the dollar amounts mean? Is that like amount per month, week, day, etc.?
- kingmanor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Dollar amounts are PER CLICK!!!!!
go to google and search for them and make the people who bid one them pay lots and lots of money.
Also there are seasonal search terms that aren't on there. "flowers" goes up in price substaintially right before valentines and mothers days. - skeeto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0thats insane
- meatbites, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I would've thought that was the eCPM rate (http://acronymfinder.com/af-query.asp?String=exact&Acronym=ecpm).
- techbuzz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm digging the blog (some other good posts). Needs to show a reference/references for the adsense amounts.
- tempest, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0way old. No Digg
- wilf_brim, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Way old? On a page that claims that the rates are current as of January 2006? RTFA folks.
Yea, it says alot about life that the highest paying adwords are for cancers that will payoff for lawyers (they take a third off the top here in the US, for those outside who don't know). So, if somebody gets mesothelioma (although very very rare) it is assumed to be an asbestos releated cancer, and thus a payout. About as close to a sure thing as you can get in adwords.
Of course, if you are hating trial lawyers you can click one of these ads anytime you see them, costs the attorney 80 bucks. - agiletech, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@meatbites: AdSense pricing is generally quoted in PPC, and eCPM rates are only available when targeting ads to specific sites.
I don't believe the TOS for AdSense allows you to disclose PPC rates earned, nor does it allow you to disclose daily earnings, only gross monthly payments. At least, that's what Darren Rowse was told when he was bragging about his... - l0g1cal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Is it safe to blog this article?
- kurtm85, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0isn't ironic that adsense is one of the top paying adsense keywords?
- abbtech, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Those figures are unreal! I guess they could be true though, someone is making big money on the net I guess??
-------------------------------------
http://hackedgadgets.com - sahaskatta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The person is just promoting him self!!! that list is more than a year old he just put that link up at the top so people would digg it! and he had adsense at the top so that people from digg might actually click on some of the links. And if even one person does click on a link he makes $50 or so i wouldnt mind either. but this list is VERY OLD and i had even blogged it over 6 months ago. NO DIGG!!! MARK AS OLD NEWS
- agiletech, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I think it stands to be said that there are literally thousands of these lists out there and if you really need this information you'd be smart to sign up as an advertiser with Google AdWords. It's simple math from the estimates they provide when establishing advertising campaigns.
Do note that the cost for AdWords advertisers does not directly represent what the AdSense publisher would actually make. Google splits this charge with the publisher. Therefore if AdWords suggested maximum CPC is $20.00, when that ad is clicked the AdSense publisher would make roughly half of it or $10. Google takes the rest.
Now you know where their $2+ billion in revenue for 2005 is coming from... - agiletech, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0oh forgot to mention their 100% revenue capture on the sponsored search listings....
- allthewhile, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0and guess what guys. most people paying 85 dollars pwer click won't sign up for the advertiser network, i.e. blogs and such but will rather keep their ads shown only on google search page results.
- Kodiak41226, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Answer me something. How does this guy "know" this and can we trust him?"
I can't validate that these are actual numbers, but anyone with an adsense account can look this info up pretty easily. - scoates, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I know for a fact that these numbers are inaccurate. Check for yourself: go to adwords.google.com, click through the signup, and check the "recommended" CPC.
For "mesothelioma", you can expect 340 clicks per day at $35.11 per click (or $11,937.96).
What tipped me off is that a known-expensive word was missing from the list (a company I used to work for spent wads of cash on google).
Nice scam on the blogger's part, though. Kudos.

- Kodiak41226, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Search for mesothelioma in google, and click on the links and make the scumbag lawyers pay for the clicks."
I used to advertise on Overture, the conversion rate always sucked. I also always click on the Overture ads now just to make some poor bastard waste their advertising budget on nothing. I believe that if everyone click an adsense ad every time they saw one; adsense wouldn't exist because no one could afford to advertise with them. Now get out there and click, click, click. - Urusai, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Adsense? I guess my browser blocks lameness like that. Come to think of it, I haven't seen many ads on teh Intarweb in awhile. A quick check of Adblock shows that yes, googlesyndication is blocked. How sweet it is, boys...
- drawkbox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0dugg because fw22 pulled a fast eddie on you all.
- ,,|,_, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0if you know what this means, and how to put it to use then you should definently want to shy away from Google's Adsense Stop Words:
http://digg.com/design/Google_Adsense_Stop_Words - jackol, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Old, and not true. I've tried a few of them.
- carguy84, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It also depends on the quality of the site that is displaying the ad. That's where the whole smart pricing(tm) comes into play.
- tj9991, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0A lot of people are reporting this as old, but it looks new
I'm trying this mesothelioma thing, if I make $40 (My 1/2 cut), I'll let you know - webwright, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Um. There is a search engine that has the top 10,000 keywords or so at http://www.iotaweb.org...
- liquidizer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There's some confusion here between adsense and adwords, I think. Adsense is where web publishers are paid by google to host their ads. I don't believe anyone is getting nearly $85 per click from Google for any keywords. Adwords is where people pay to put their ads on Google's site and on the adsense network - I can believe people are paying $85 per click to Google for some ads on there.
@urusai: Hosting ads is how people can afford to publish their content for free. - spamdies, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Google adsense has a habit of not paying their rent on sites. no digg, lame.
- nwilkens, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Just put this into google ads tool
Max CPC: USD $50.00
Recommended daily budget: USD $5,970.00
Keywords Avg. Position Clicks / Day Cost / Day Avg. CPC
Overall 1.7 290.0 $3,979.92 $13.72
mesothelioma 1.7 290.0 $3,979.92 $13.72
Estimates for these keywords are based on clickthrough rates for current advertisers. Some of the keywords above are subject to review by Google and may not trigger your ads until they are approved. Please note that your traffic estimates assume your keywords are approved.
nw: www.techyblog.com - Tweekster, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0yes, screw the lawyers over. smart idea.
so then the asbestos companies can not have to pay at all....
and the people with cancer get nothing...brilliant guys - pyroh, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0"programming" ?
