Didn't think you could get the internet that far into the trailer park. - TheFoo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+50Too bad I won't be able to look at this list when my ISP is down.
- Klowner, on 10/12/2007, -3/+46black magic, apparently.. Why the hell does every digg article now require someone complaining about why something is on the fricking front page?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+38Haha, I love number one.
- Jimzip, on 10/12/2007, -1/+33This is hilarious.
My favourite is the AOL trial disks. Kept me entertained for a few seconds anyhow..
Good find! (Oh crud the boss saw me laughing and is coming my way..)
Jimzip :D - JesperL, on 10/12/2007, -3/+34You're on the Internet... and you don't condone porn?
You're either with the FBI or my mother. - iruel, on 10/12/2007, -1/+32i only got high-speed at the beginning of summer, ive experienced the sick and twisted pit of hell that is dial-up all my life. i'm just so happy to be with you.
- mb3581, on 10/12/2007, -1/+26ahh...the good ol' days of dial-up. I think i would shoot myself if I ever had to hear another modem dial.
- mikeazorin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+27burrrrrneeeeerrrrBRFAAAHRNUUUUUHDEDOHHDEDOOHHeeeeeeeNHURRRR
- FreydNot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+22Wait a minute...
- foolfromhell, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16When you kill a combine metrocop in HL2, you hear it.....
I HATE THAT - foolfromhell, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18This could also work if Digg is down.....
- iXam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Bah. I have at least 5 different ways of connecting to the Internet.
1) Cable modem (24/8Mbit)
2) VDSL (12/9Mbit)
3) 3G (UMTS, ~300Kbit)
4) GSM
5) Steal WiFi
So if all goes down at once i have larger problems than not being able to connect to Internet, namely i have been nuked. - TenebrousX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1230. Get scared ***** thinking you were caught downloading pr0n/warez
- miles32, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11what is this girl friend thing you speak of?
- AlexApetrei, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11NO, women take away pretious time from internet usage where you see all the women you could posibly need. EVER.
- Klowner, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11you mean the heartrate monitor going "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee", I found that cool.. Although I never associated it with a modem, so I guess that's why it never bugged me.
- rages4calm, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11They forgot to mention load up the snes zsnes emulator and play chrono trigger and earthbound for hours.
- itsonlyme, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10Awesome, perfect timing... My Internet connection is down right now.
- juneaude, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10what's a "phone line"?
It's a series of "tubes" that the phones run on... - LegendarySock, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Hmm... I'd make a list of things to do on the internet when my ISP comes back.
- koweja, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8"Open the curtains to see if anything has changed over the past 2 years."
Who exactly has an ISP that hasn't gone done in two years, and can I sign up? - AudioPhil3, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9My #1 = Go to the Dentist.
I haven’t done this for years, many many procrastinating years.
So help me god, please keep my ISP running, for the imminent root canal that awaits me, will be a fate worse than my ISP going down.
*takes another slug of mountaindew* - burke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Wow, Cable and VDSL? Where do you live, Bill Gates' house?
- bdub92, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9"Buy a cow, and start a farmers life"
+digg! - Bob042, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8I'm ashamed of myself. My ISP blocked ports above 1024, and it hadn't even occured to me yet to get some of that thar neighbor bandwidth to starboard.
- rhettmaxwell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I'll bookmark this for later, in case my isp does go down...
- thestorey, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Masturbate to the porn u have on your hard drive until the net comes back up...
- davidirock, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8In windows you can disable the modem sounds. Go to your hardware proporties if you really hate the sound so much.
- Splitt3rxx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I usually pick up my DS and play some castlevania or mario kart.
"30. Get scared ***** thinking you were caught downloading pr0n/warez"
well, that too. - gosix, on 10/12/2007, -5/+9What's a modem?
- BamB00, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Get your gf to give you a BJ to cool you off.
- pureliquidhw, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5My ISP could be down for days and I wouldn't know it... Ah, emulators.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I don't see the option I do... call the ISP and wait on hold until it comes back.
- Sibertank, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Call your ISP and tell them they need to shoot a lottery ball through the pipes to clear the block
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5my ISP died earlier today and just came back
*****, i needed to read this BEFORE that happened
lol - tashpool, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Internet down? Good thing I have DSL and Cable or I might have to succumb to such atrocities!
- Slagged, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It's a type of wine cooler I think.
- rtakach, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3i just love "play single player mode" - just wanted to give a shout out to that, made me laugh almost as much as "slit your wrists with broken AOL discs"
- shosterman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Ha, did anyone else try to replicate the above post out loud? Make sure you look around first and noone is watching, I got some strange gazes. Whoops!
- TenebrousX, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6bizarrely enough, mine was down for about 1/2 an hour, then it came back and this was on the front page.
I know it sounds like I'm making this up, but it's true - franksmith, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This is why the media is so screwed up these days... giving away national security programs and talking about morbid issues like your ISP going down.
There are some things we shouldn't or can't handle thinking about! ;-) - madmack, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3i usually connect my cell phone on GPRS via Bluetooth to my desktop and start digging til my ISP is back.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4What do you mean wait a minute? Look at number 7 ;) At least, I'm assuming that's what he's doing.
- davidirock, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Umm.... why does the site have a monk that says "greatings net wonderer." Thats like web .5
- DeathtoG4, on 10/12/2007, -9/+131 Open the curtains to see if anything has changed over the past 2 years.

29 Threaten your ISP with an impeachment vote. - AlexApetrei, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Dude , aparently there's some tubes ... intrawebs(z) is somewhat dated.
Smoke ... smoking is a good way to pass the time.
Are you smoking yet ? - ydt89, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2How bout going to get some sorta pump to unclog the tubes?
- Rob5246, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Too late, my cable tv and internet were out all last week and it just got back up and running today. My favorite activity was trying to make an antenna strong enough to get Fox and watch the baseball games. A big thank you to Cox Communications for finally getting to a disconnect that the previous resident had filed months ago, and cutting out my tv and internet, then taking over a week to get it working again.
- pureliquidhw, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Web .5.0 (point five point oh) to be exact.
