- dankosaur, on 10/12/2007, -1/+23Wow, top 126... what a selective list
- NoLeftTurn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14Only 126?? That's lame!... If you want to be a really hardcore AJAX programmer you need to read EVERY TUTORIAL IN EXISTENCE!
Check out my site... currently I've got 19400 AJAX tutorials listed. http://www.google.com/search?q=ajax+tutorial
Then download the latest MS Frontpage and build yourself that totally rad Web 2.0 website you've been dreaming about. - Phocion55, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10I think Web 3.0 will let you physically kick someone through XMLHttpRequest. You'll have to wait a few years. :/ Until that day....we can all dream.
- binary64, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Ooh just 2 away from being a binary number pun!
- pixelmixer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8contrary to the rest of the diggers above, I actually think its a good resource. Granted the title could have been named differently.
- Lutz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7then Linux really is safer
- xtr3m, on 10/12/2007, -4/+10"Top 126"? This is getting ridiculous. Might as well just google for 'ajax tutorial'.
- shiftt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5people need to stop reading ajax tutorials and just go out and do it
it's so much simpler than people think it really is - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Or just moo.ajax:
http://mootools.net/download/release - ryan_merket, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Do you really need 126 tutorials on AJAX? Just go learn some JavaScript - then XMLHttpRequest object...
- eConsultant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This is just a cut and paste job:
Top 126 Ajax Tutorials : Ultimate Web Developer Lists : eConsultant
http://www.econsultant.com/web-developer/ajax-tutorials/
This is only 1 of the lists in the Ultimate Web Developer Lists : 4000+ Web Development Links in 200+ Topics.
http://www.econsultant.com/ultimate-web-developer/index.html - firehydra2k, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3some of the ones on top are ok. The ones at the bottom sucks, though. Just letting you all know so you guys don't waste too much time looking through it.
- soupisgoodfood, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2OK... 45 "getting stated" tutorials? Why do I want to have to decide between 45 different tuturials for a subject I know little about? I just want the best one, thanks.
No Digg, because there are already many AJAX tutorials out there (and almost all of them seem to have been featured on Digg before), and this just makes it HARDER to get started. - zeiben, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I didn't even know there were 128 AJAX web apps worth looking at, let alone that many tutorials on how to create them...
- CorpT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You know what I do when I want an AJAX tutorial?
http://www.digg.com/search?s=ajax
I do that several times a day just in case there is a new AJAX tutorial that I haven't read yet. - lucidmoon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Haven't you ever heard of Prototype?
- lukes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2it's odd .. the term 'ajax' is new, but yet people complaining about it feels so very, very old ..
- jobo5432, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Is there (in the 126-volume tutorial) a place where I can learn how to do scratch and sniff websites? It's gotta be out there right?
- Rivetgeek, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I hear flash 10 will have active scripting that allows you to actually stab someone in the face.
Still wont work for linux very well though ; / - gd007, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2why not top 1028?
- tlehman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2yes, i think that if people were genuinely interested in learning to apply javascript in a manner that some describe as ajax then they could find the resources themselves.
and web 2.0 is a stupid buzzword, the term 'ajax' is new, but the technique is not. - phatvolvo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2yeah, moo is awesome
- myrmidon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Thanks for pointing out the cut-and-paste job. Now, when I'm trying to "bury" a story, what option should I select? It's not quite a duplicate story, and it's not quite lame -- it's a valuable resources, it's just unfortunate that someone stole someone else's valuable resources.
There should be a bury option of "Not original" or something, which is quite different from a duplicate story. - stormist, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Ok the google comment was kind of funny :)
- tim507, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1marked as spam then.
- Phocion55, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1haha buuurned
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0can't wait for "126 tutorials on 'document.write' "
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -11/+5I will kick the next person who mentions "Ajax"/"AJAX" or "Web 2.0" in the face. Hard.
- Aaryn015, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Thanks for the top Ajax tutorials maddendude. I can finally build that Web 2.0 app I've been planningfor ages. Oops, did I say Ajax? I meant AJAX.
