If so, sorry guys. - hectorhector, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1ben fry has a bunch of cool stuff on his site. the best is the mario deconstructulator where it shows graphically how the NES stores sprites in memory while it is being played:

- MacTechie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Someone asked if there was one of these for phone numbers. This one isn't as nice as zipdecode but it works well for trying to find out where a phone number is geographically. I use it all the time:
http://www.fonefinder.net/ - TheDarkTipper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Kevin got Sarah to do that on TSS and also 01337.

-jeffrey - djhifisi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm not american, what's the point of it? Just shows you which geographical area a zip relates to or am I missing something?

You can not determine the latitude/longitude based on a zip code. There is no "formula" to make that conversion. That is not what a zip code is for. There are, however, databases that have listed zip codes along with their lat./long info. That is basically what this site has done, except he placed it on a map. Once you have lat./long. info, you *can* calculate distances between 2 points:
