What kind of spectrum is that? - qeek, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9It's Alvit's: http://www.alvit.de/handbook/
- MeatBiProduct, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6most web developers have adblock or something similar - i didn't see the ads.
thats cause i'm smart enough to know i don't use them and to block them. regardless its a good collection of links (lots of sites i use are on there).
so what if the creator makes an entire $100 over the coarse of 4 months, props to him. - gharding, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Where's Java and Python? Java is an insanely powerful language for web development, and python is just awesome.
- Saidin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Like Avit's list, but not geared towards web-designers, but to web developers and programmers instead.
- toughice, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Tips are good, but damn, you think they could use some of those tips to create a site that doesn't make your eyes want to bleed.
- Vinthian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3nice list *bookmarks*
- NanoStuff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Hurray, yet another resource indexing site.
- omarsx, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3cool
- zkatkin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Nice comprehensive list of dev tools and resources. I especially appreciate the firefox plugins/addons.
- scatfly, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2http://duggmirror.com/programming/The_Web_Developers_List_of_Resources/
- antdude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It seems broken in my SeaMonkey v1.0.7.
- greenanator, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I have used Alvit's for over a year. Very nice resource.
- abyssknight, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Love Alvit's stuff. He's been ripped off before, hopefully this isn't another copy cat. Layout is remarkably similar to the original though, albeit not nearly as pretty or easy to use.
Still, good list none the less. - SergeantPepper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2No python list? What a shame...
- DYMongoose, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Nice... thanks!
- Hobster, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Oh, I like this list. Very useful! Seems like the most popular ones are on top (grades are shown on mouse over - hover)!
- TheSaladMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Love it, very concise and in depth
- tehmoth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1hmm, 'Text not found: "Perl"', guess noone does web development in Perl.
- rowanjl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Let me know when the design doesn't make me want to tear my eyes out... ouch!
- nathanielb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1180 diggs in and the web developers' site is down. Try the mirror .. http://duggmirror.com/programming/The_Web_Developers_List_of_Resources/
- MeatBiProduct, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1yah great list and pretty much all the best php sites are on there! digged and bookmarked.
- rossnyc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Nice list but up-size your text in your browser one notch - then try two notches...
- ILikeBeets, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I have about 20 pages like this one bookmarked. I've actually gone through about.....1....maybe 1.5
I'm sure it would come in handy if I weren't so lazy. - toganet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Not sure how I feel getting advice on web design from a site that is so terribly designed....
- washcapsfan37, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Certainly not "everything" a web developer needs (no Java links there). The links are chaoticly thrown together in general categories with no descriptions. It's like taking a export of someone's Favorites bookmarks. Sure, he has a lot of links but how are you supposed to find what you need with no descrptions?
- Degenerate, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i know, it is dreadful isn't it. I'm loathe to bookmark it, but there are some very useful links there. I'm convinced that bookmarking it for now is a good idea as i agree with at least a dozen links on the page. There may just turn out to be some more bookmarks from the page when I'm done clicking through it. I'll get rid of the page after it's finished it's usefulness though :-)
- jesirose, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Firefox is abbreviated Fx, not FF.
Bookmarked the list for later. - jonnyq, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0that would be a correct assumption
at least, no one that values their sanity. - operand, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Re-read my comment. I merely stated that its a great info site for a starter of young developer. But for the COMPLETE Developer Resource, its missing some things. Its a start but could be better with a cleaner design and more information.
And personally I have never developed an application that didn't work in 90% of browsers under .NET. Its not the tool but how you use it. - yahoofrom, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1why not Fr?
- operand, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Could be useful for starters or young developers but there are too many topics missing - especially Java/J2EE and .NET (either C# or VB for the codebehind).
- diggdisc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0oh please. He collected a few links off true resource page and put links to collect free money off someone else's sweat. Then spammed digg with "what a great site" to gather free clicks
- freeicons, on 03/26/2008, -0/+0Great resources, Can you add my free icons site to your list

Thanks - avirex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Awesome list, pin and unpin concept is well done. It would be nice to be able to arrange the list with drag and drop (Ajax anyone). With some work this could become a nice portal.
- avirex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Give the guy a break, positive reinforcement will encourage him to enhance the design.
- JexMedia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wow! A wonderful resource for developers!!
- 123zoozle, on 12/17/2007, -0/+0I like this list. Very useful!
http://www.webdesignersindia.net/ecommerce-website ... - theinternot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I am glad to see Coldfusion on there (Yes, it is a real programming language). Awesome list.. i can use many links there on a daily basis. Dugg.
- jonnyq, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I wouldn't suggest using .NET to any young developer that intends to make valid code that actually works in web browsers.
that said, Microsoft's documentation for .NET is excellent enough that you shouldn't need too many other references, at least after you have the basics of the language.
But still, .NET is the FrontPage of server-side scripting. - Drugman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0nice list
- diggdisc, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2IGNORE!!!! This is just some monkeys way of collecting free revenue via clicks. The page sucks and lacks even java links. He is displaying google ads to annoy you. Just go to far better free sites that don't dump ad spam on you and have far more useful links.
Note the fake feedback with *Positive* glowing remarks on a waste of time site.
