- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -7/+35Hi, I'm Steve Jobs and I would like to add that I may not be the best but I am the biggest tool Digg will ever see.
- MrBabyMan, on 10/11/2007, -3/+24Digg this up, if for no reason, to support all the tremendous work Brian Shaler is doing for Digg data visualization! Keep up the great work, Brian! I'm looking forward to seeing what else you've got in store for us.
- SpectralSounds, on 10/11/2007, -1/+19Hi, Im Jack Thompson and I would like to disagree with you. I would hate you more, but since you cant really play any videogames on Macs... I guess Ill put up with you.
- sst4ab, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12at least they're not described as the BEST. DIGG TOOLS. EVER.
- praveenmarkandu, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7the wheel makes me ***** dizzy
- xxTazxx, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6One is amazed at these tools.

>-- O --< - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Ashton, are you still interested in that gerbil thing we talked about? -Steve Jobs
ps Goaste, I will PM you later. - hbweb500, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7I'm Ashton Kutcher. I'm awesome!
- webcure, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5I like these tools, and they look nice too! Good luck!!
- Dycacian, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Yeah I have used a few of his tools. But I wonder how he reacts to requirement creep.
crrrreeeeeep... I know that Digg Taggr can do pretty much everything I want it to do, but can you make it take out my trash too? - Jo9100, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4i want a tool that allows me to view my past comments (both news and video), and the replies
- arbulus, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3"I like the looks of his tools"
I'm sorry, I know you didn't mean that in a strange way, but I had to LOL at that. - invader, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3@captinherb
Shhhh!
My server is being very temperamental right now. I designed the tools in a way that one would last through the Digg Effect... But it's under pretty extreme strain right now, because they're ALL under the Digg Effect at once!
There are other things to Digg if you can't connect :-)

API Contest entry: http://digg.com/design/Wheel_of_Upcoming (I was hoping for a come-from-behind victory, but I'm not even going to come close) - Anrkist, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4We need a tool that stops "Service Temporarily Unavailable The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later."
- t3soro, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5the best digg tool: http://duggmirror.com/programming/Perhaps_some_of_the_best_DIGG_tools_one_would_see/

Actually, the big dot is the founder of Digg... Try searching for the user "kevinrose" on the map. It will point to the center and tell you he has an obscenely high number of fans. The next biggest is "Diggnation"
/beat me to it, cap'n - tekz0r, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Dugg because he doesn't allow you to click on the biggest glowing dot to reveal who has the most fans in his Heat Map application. I'm not sure if he was restricted by Digg or he did it through his own moral qualms, but nevertheless it will detour people from trying to game Digg.
- invader, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3@light11
I've noticed that my server's connections to Digg have been acting funny since about the time this front-paged. I'll see if I can figure out the problem tomorrow.
Either Digg changed something with their server configuration (which has happened before) or having all of my apps connect to Digg at once got my server into trouble. - captinherb, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3@tekz0r:
It's Kevin Rose. The answer to all those kind of questions is always Kevin Rose... - PoeticExplosion, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Nice:
"Error: I couldn't connect to the database.
Don't try again any time soon or you will
make the current dilemma even worse.
Go to Digg.com and compain about
the Bush administration or something.
Seriously. Leave me alone." - ElbridgeGerry, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Hm, I tried the "Wheel of Upcoming Stories" and all I got was
Ronpaulronpaulronpaulronpaulronpaul - DrunkenPirate34, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Yea, I didn't like the fact that you couldn't click on a dot and see the name.
- ryanonfire, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2who was the brightest dot?
- themastersb, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3"Would" because the site is down.
- judicar, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Cool and useful? or just cool?
- robweber, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3I like the looks of his tools, but the ultimate goal should be to help me find new stories. Which only the DiggTaggr really does effectively. The other ones seem more like eye candy. Overall nice use of the API to present a range of possiblities.
I've been working on a story suggestor that uses your past digging history to suggest new stories. Try it out at http://weberjr.com/suggest - captinherb, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3>>"He's giving Digg Labs a run for its money!"
lol *he's*
@themastersb
Try again, Brian's site is on the front page all the time without going down, and it's working for me. - c0d3b0y, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2http://www.duggmirror.com/programming/Perhaps_some_of_the_best_DIGG_tools_one_would_see
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1"How about a "link to slashdot" tool, so that we can read the intelligent discussion at Slashdot for any given article." - 4th comment
Why was he Dugg down? He and/or she wasn't implying that gangsta 1337 Diggx0rs aren't intelligent and don't have intelligent discussions; he and/or she was just saying that he and/or she enjoys reading Slashdot discussions as well as Digg discussions, and would like to just look at the Digg article and click a button to view the Slashdot discussion as well as the Digg discussion, which I think would be a very useful tool who likes reading multiple discussions and views on different topics in his and/or her free time. - DforSpiD, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1which one?
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1some dont even work.. wtf
- Waskonator, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1It really warms ones heart to see all the non-profit effort the digg community puts into trinkets and widgets. It really is inspiring. Separate Note: I would like to see the DIGG.com website as the President of the United States... sounds like a good idea.
- arbulus, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Oh, a surprise! How can I resist?
- D3koy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Perhaps these are in fact some of the best Digg tools /I/ have ever seen...
- zorze, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0@buu700
You don't know how to use "and/or", do you? - Joeymad, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1a shovel
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Neither.
- double051, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1mirror?
- Zeush8su, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Love that Service Temporarily Unavailable text...great collection...
- JDWTC, on 10/11/2007, -16/+5How about a "link to slashdot" tool, so that we can read the intelligent discussion at Slashdot for any given article.
