- sirsteveh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1While this sounds pretty cool, the question is - who's repackaging and reselling the software if it's GPL (it is)?
- markrogerpollak, on 12/12/2008, -0/+0I've looked at various software options including open source but found that going for a commercial version gave peace of mind to me - in the end I'd recommend TAB Dental whose dental practice management software was first rate
- dentalpbx, on 09/11/2008, -0/+0We support this software and we integrated in to one of our product IP Based PBX. when the call comes from any of their patients, a window pops with patient information on their screen. if the staff wants to call any of their patients, they can just click on a button on open dental patient information screen. the call will be automatically placed and connected to the phone near to their system. any one interested please let us know. you can contact us by going to our web site www.clubpbx.com. Hope this will help.

You need a registration code....... - rsgraves, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0My wife uses Open Dental practice management software in her dental practice. It's licensed under GPL. The main developer, who is also a dentist, sells optional subscription-based support for the product. It's every bit as full-featured as packages costing $15K - $25K.
- majp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0the software itself is free. But you can get support for a monthly fee which also includes all the latest updates. We have been using it for over a year now and it is great. It runs stable and has not given us any headaches yet. It's also quite intuitive, fast for staff to learn....but i don't want to sound like I'm getting paid to write this.
