- AssProphet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5yeah good work. Hopefully people will start using this instead of scriptalicious or prototype.js. They are full of features that most websites don't use at all.
For example lightbox Js. It could easily be written with moo.fx and prototyle.lite.js but the author apparently didn't design for lower bandwith. (thankfully there is http://www.doknowevil.net/litebox/)
Spread the word, and help make the web sexy AND fast. - OhJay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I don't know about the other scripts in the package, but moo.fx is very small in size.
- TheGief, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Here is the weblog post about it.

Cool? Check. Usability confusion generator? Check.
Change it to a textbox w/autocomplete that has a fancy tooltip or something... - markos, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2that dropdown confused me. i typed into the box to the left of the dropdown expecting something to happen. i clicked on the dropdown and got nothing. then i hit search and got the dropdown again. then i finally realized that the dropdown becomes a text box when you click on it. I suggest you change that right away, as nobody is used to typing text into a dropdown box.
- jschrab, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Moo.fx != Mootools. If you want small, yes Moo.FX is still there. But Mootools is so much richer. The Fx.Styles effect alone is worth a lot of attention.
- rrrrw22, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Moo tools is great, I wrote my drop selector on http://www.bookfaced.com/ with it. Really lets you use java like OO syntax
- TheGief, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1so sweet, hope this can make it to the front page.
- OliviaHoman, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0drastick, the story you submitted is ver good! Is it Real a Quick Way to write powerful and flexible JavaScript applications
- redlaser, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1btw, neat implementation that dropdown box
- chrixian, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I suppose I'll go take a look at it but my initial thought is a) is another javascript library really necessary? and b) what could it possibly address that the numerous other js libraries haven't already taken on ... guess I'll go find out.
