If you looking to convert to put on Ipod or Archos or any portable Media Player/Mp3 device. Than you would have to convert. To mpeg2 overlay it with a DIVX coder and Virtual- Dub than i transfer to that said portable media player. I personally like to use Tmpeg Express as well especially for my MCE2005 content and google and Youtube files. I download them with Video Downloader add-on for FireFix 2.0 :)
