Am I wasting my time here? - webtech, on 11/04/2008, -0/+1More explanation on how to add Gadgets of any kind to Gmail: http://blog.go2web20.net/2008/10/how-to-add-gadget ...
- jsortino, on 11/20/2008, -0/+0If you have configured your GMAIL account to use SSL (https), TwitterGadget is unable to detect GMAIL in an automated fashion, as access via SSL prevents the ability to detect a referer. As such, you can force TwitterGadget into GMAIL mode (tiny), automatically, by installing the gadget in GMAIL using the following URL:
http://www.twittergadget.com/gadget_gmail.xml - jeanberg, on 12/13/2008, -0/+0 I didnt even find the Lab tab, and spent some time searcing the web on how to add the gadgets tab - with no luck. The problem was that my g-mail language was set to Norwegian (yes - I'm a viking :). So, to active the "Gadgets tab", I had to go to settings and reset my site to English (Settings > Language). I could then add the new features, and follow the directions as above, and set it back to Norwegian - with luck. C",)
- jsortino, on 11/12/2008, -0/+0TwitterGadget (twittergadget.com) just added automated support for incorporation into gmail. It auto-detects gmail and adjusts the gadget size automatically to fit. Very nice. Much better than ANY solution I've come across, bar none.
- birdFEEDER, on 11/04/2008, -0/+0Nice little app...
- jsortino, on 11/04/2008, -0/+0Did you include the "protocol" when you attempted to add the URL? http://www.twittergadget.com/gadget.xml
