- vincent, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Does this mean the hack I made to remove adds from digg.com will stop working soon?
- amwmedia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There's always a way around it ;-)
- SmeRndmGy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0long live adblock.

If someone goes to all the trouble to block certain ads, my guess is because the ads are irritating. Plus quite a few are now trying to install spyware. So trying to force us to view irritating ads that might install spyware that messes up our computers is your business plan? Have you ever heard of text ads? - psyonide, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There are ads on Digg? I must not have noticed, with all those 127.0.0.1 entries in my hosts file and all.
- ass_master, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0k, i don't know what we're talking about. what is greasemonkey? how does this effect my adblock?
- riot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@ ass master (what a name)
grease monkey is a firefox extention it will not break your adblock in anyway
see --> http://greasemonkey.mozdev.org/
i use greasemonkey to remove ads from google.com
see --> customizegoogle.com
I use it to remove ad from yahoo groups too.
it a very good extention to block flash based ads the adblock misses
it can block iframes and such check it out for sure - bash, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0bah, the ads on digg are all google text ones. don't really need to block ads so long as they don't annoy the ***** outta me.
- fishynet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0My Firefox always crashes when visiting this site (1.0.2 Linux) (no greasemonkey installed)
- Punisher2K, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0So thanks for putting that up so advertisers figure it out sooner...
