- IvanB, on 10/12/2007, -7/+30Come on Digg, let's break that *****.
- gcube9x, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12This game is about two orders of magnitude harder. You can't just get it with your brain and google, you have to use external tools like photoshop and extract mp3s from things. It's seriously insane.
- schole, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11Let the people solve it.

Almost complete walkthrough - link470, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Ah yes, I remember when I submitted that 352 days ago...
http://digg.com/tech_news/Notpron_-_The_Hardest_Riddle_on_the_Net - underdog138, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7It's not old for all of us. This is the first time I've ever seen it.
- firefoxguy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5This is the old keyword.
Stop using walkthroughs.

AWSOME!!
http://deathball.net/notpron/threethreethree/criminal.htm - twollamalove, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8that hardly makes it insane, that makes it a scavenger hunt
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4The game is stupid. What kind of "player" is going to guess that the way to solve half the levels is to view the HTML source for a page, then modify the source based on googling the name of some german hacking group and reversing the letters, then loading the modified source?
I mean give me a break. This "puzzle" is just a giant snipe hunt. - DougTanner, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Stuck on level 142... waiting for them to produce a working quantum computer so I can factor the multiple-of-primes to decode the next hint.
- MicrowavedH2o, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3yeah... I'm not really into this kind of "game" seems more like something you would see in the movie Saw.
- vezquex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I'm scarred for life by this game, look!
*NSFW* http://deathball.net/notpron/twentytwo/again.htm - DuoPros, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I got up to there once. Theyre leading you down a fake trail!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2> Replace False by True to give:
Actually, I was alluding to the step before "Profit!". (I probably should have said "step #2"). - borninda818, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2http://deathball.net/notpron/levelzero.htm
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Oh, and just to let you know, if you look at the source code of -32, it says "please don't help anyone to get here." :P
- thekidder, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I've done this a while ago. I got to level 30 or so before I got bored. (OK, I got stuck...)
- thegreatsam, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I remember this. Earlier in the year I got stumped on sixty-something and kind of gave up.
They get HARD. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Tip: You may want to do this in Explorer. There's background music. I'm not sure, but I think at some point there may be audible clues. I'm still stuck on the second one, though. So I dunno. =
- cliffzdude, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I'm on level 127, on level 113 it takes a beowulf cluster to break an encrypted key. Unless you have access to a supercomputer...
BTW, email me if you want to talk about some land in south florida. Its dry, I promise. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You mean where you have to print up a geometric net and fold it to make a shape that you have to follow a path on to get the answer? I got there too. :D
- shosterman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2This one is probably also old, but I wasted a bit of time playing it.
It's called The Wicked.
http://thewicked.sgblogging.com/wicked2/ - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hahaha thanks for the shortcut :D
- tdogg241, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2OK, I feel ***** retarded. I can't even get past level 2.
- vezquex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1^ I guess it really is pron after all.
- dan4prez, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Are new levels always being added?
- TylerDurden0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I don't have time for this *****. Had time to comment, though...
- rnelsonee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah, I got to the negative levels, and cheated on half of 'em, collaborated on the rest. Once the levels started going negative, I gave up.
It is kind of neat though - the puzzles touch on a lot of nerdy/computer stuff. You'll need a wide range of geek info in your head to beat some levels. You also need the right tools (Photoshop, wav editor, hex editor) for the later levels. - thepol, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3you translate the morse code in the shadows
- mjar81, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1when i hover the cursor over the door and the javascript pops up it renders my browser's address bar and buttons inactive. what gives?
I'm using Firefox 1.5.0.4 - Unicron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Just leave it there for the (current) 175 people who hadn't seen it yet? I hope you never read any articles where people say "old news" as you're just perpetuating the problem.
- Zoomrix, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Pretty interesting. Must've taken these people quite a long time to create this.
I got to level 9 and decided that I'm tired. :P - Lereas, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Well, the a to craZy puzzle was new-ish and wasn't well known as far as I'm aware. This puzzle is well documented and has been solved all the way through, so this isn't quite so amusing. There was, however, another one out there I need to find.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This is so old... I got to level 40 something back when that was the top level. There is no way I'm doing it again.
- mcsnolte, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yea, this one is pretty old, you can find solutions here: http://stevenolte.com/wiki/index.php/Notpron
If you want a hard puzzle, try this one: http://www.ninebows.com/ - buzzert, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I played this like 2 years ago. It gets much harder.
- TheAnti, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4I'm on lvl 50 currently, have notes from level 32+ with me right now and all levels under that @ home. Anybody need help
- Empyre, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Ta geule Ivan
- DuoPros, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Morse code.
- strikerK, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1DO NOT get into this puzzle. I have been sucked into this, and have made it all the way to level 87, the only thing is that its taken me almost 3 years now.
- adambloor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0*Sigh*
- JesusofOcala, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1When I read this I said to my slef "This better be notpron" Yea, once you get so far it goes to negative numbers. Then to the greek alphabet if I remeber right. Its really long.
- droidiac, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1this is old, if you like puzzles like this go to the forums on www.unfiction.com theres tons of stuff like this there. Check in Timewasters.
- wbeavis, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0We need that universal decrypter thingy from sneakers. Then we'll zoom right through this thing. Someone get Akroyd on the line!
- MatYadabyte, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Only by knowing the path. Can you see the destination.
Each level is a reflection of the one before.
Each level is procrastination.
And when you have the 37
You you have the 44.
But only when the key is found,
Can you enter through the door.
Seldom guessed,
Always known.
Respect is earned,
The path is shown.

Mat: (My blog:www.salted.net) - TheAnti, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Its not that hard if you actually get into it, you definitely need to use the hints on their forums for some of these though, I was lost without them on a few, I'm up to 52 right now, its so easy right now too, since 50 I've just had to name whats in the pictures, wish they were all that simple.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3Don't be so negative.
Look at the directory that page you're viewing is in. There's something there that should give you the answer.
Digg this comment down, to keep it hidden. - solfood, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0any digger's playing Perplex City?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1That's pretty old guys... I've been working on it for a while and I'm on level 79. It gets harder... Have fun!
- squeakypants, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Very very old. I never beat it but I got to I think about 40-50
