theundefined, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hi dertom, right now I don't really need an Ebay Api, but I might come to the situation where a client wants to connect his online shop with ebay or something, in that case I'd propably create a CakePHP solution for it ; ).

But it's interesting to hear that such a thing is out there and I wish you good luck with your efforts ; ).

ebay does offer a public api, just look at developer.ebay.com.

I'm just playing arround with it a few days for now, they have a sandbox where you cant test your app, when finished give it them to look through it and get you keys for productive system...

So a cake implementation would require to do the basic xml stuff for gathering data from the api, a user who wanna use it must have its own sandbox/production keys of course then...
