- matx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Notepad++ is great, use it for java, html coding and anyother text editing.
Nice simple and runs fast - hettybembler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0No omnipad?? Damn.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice site! Thanks! Digg!
- bytefoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0what, no dev-c++ by bloodshed? :(
- matx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0dev c++ os pm there, thats great!
- ZephyrNorthWest, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Personally I prefer code::blocks. There hasn't been an update for dev-c++ in quite a while...
- smithco, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is silly, everyone already knows that emacs is the ultimate text editor (even the vi people know that).
- matx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0* dev C++ is on there.
- ReyBrujo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I found that site while still using Windows, that is from where I found the incredible SharpDeveloper. If you are into C/C++, I recommend MinGW Studio and MinGW as compiler.
- dbr_onix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I used Notepad++, but SciTE that came with Digital Fusion (For writing scripts for it) seems pretty good
Anyway, usefull site :)
- Ben - fighto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I use SciTE for everything.
- surfing, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hey teaguecl, it says "Windows" in the title.
- voodooVince, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Site missed EditPlus, damn it's the best.
life without column select is like peaches without cream. - holdemcharts, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Digg+ for Watcom C Copiler
- aphextwin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Heh, this led me to look for my favorite old school site http://protools.reverse-engineering.net/
It's still there..give it a look. Great stuff there. - ashtonium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0yep, SciTE for everything.
- noph44, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hmmm no textpad...
Ahh well, I have to say I was surprised at how well visual web developer 2005 worked, that's the first ms product I've used in like 2 years. - [Lep], on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Heh, this led me to look for my favorite old school site http://protools.reverse-engineering.net/

I've been there before, thanks for reminding me. I was looking for an unpacker but couldn't remember the site. - theantidote, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0SciTE is my favorite editor. Quick and easy, with lots of different language support.
- teaguecl, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0All Windows... no digg. Of course, a list of crappy unix editors would also get no digg. I second the vote for emacs as the end all, be all of development tools. Especially compared to the "new" ide's like Eclipse, what a huge PoC that is.
- Bananas21ca, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Bah, i could just google this.
