- Philoushka, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Aside from the high and mighty who've been doing this "long before", I think this is a great introduction to people who aren't familiar with the concept. Let's start building better webapps!
- techjunkie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Nice find.. Been looking for something similar to this!
- maverick999, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Microsoft has released their beta version of "Atlas". Their AJAX library for ASP.net:

http://weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/archive/2005/06/28/416185.aspx - Palehorse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I too have been creating these types of apps for a while, however it is worth noting that this library is a great implementation that makes the xmlhttp requests a snap! I ran across it a couple of months ago and have been using it ever since.
And to echo Philoushka's sentiment, "Let' start building better webapps!" - RyanOC, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i would rather see examples that dont use a compiled library. I want to see the code. This one has the code, but i couldnt get the VB version to run corectly. The C# would, but i dont know C#.
- andrewh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is good, but prototype is another, in some cases better, option:
http://www.sergiopereira.com/articles/prototype.js.html - cdaly33, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I've used this library in several ASP.Net 2.0 projects and recommend it highly. It takes a little bit of getting used to but once you have it there are some kick a@$ stuff you can do.

MonoRail uses the prototype.js javascript library, which IMHO is much better than ajax.net or even asp.net 2.0 callbacks. - creativetype, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's an "I, me, my" world philoushka.
"I've been doing this for 40 years." Yada. Yada. Yada. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0monorail, monorail, monorail....
Sorry guy couldn't help it. - anagami, on 07/02/2008, -1/+0.Net and AJAX are not meant to be together :P
- JamesWilson, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I've been implementing 'ajax solutions' in .net long before gmail came out. It really isn't that special. And btw, ajax encompasses more than xmlhttp.
