There is also a categories button on the right, which is not the best location since I almost missed it. However if you click it there are quite a lot of other categories which is cool. gives me more stuff to look at.

- fooddog, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Very cool idea. I think it could be tweaked (flashman's fontsize idea is good, for example, and the size of the boxes doesn't quite correspond to relative interest), but I this is conceptually a much simpler and useful interface than the standard Digg pages.

- cschin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1My shameless self-promotion: this ( http://infoecho.net/Sandbox/DiggsInABox.py ) is a javascript based implementation of treemap view of Diggs. I wrote it for learning javascript. Well, I have only test on Firefox and Safari. Don't know if it runs well under IE.
- arpitmathur, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The application is reading the newest entries so they only have few diggs but it shows you the most dugg ones of those. You can increase the number of stories using the slider on the top left to see more stories. The map will redraw itself and if older stories have more diggs, they will come up bigger.
