- objectwire, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Killer tool. Who is this masked developer ?! Did a little research on him, check out his portal site for some other killer projects too http://www.unwieldy.net/ - I love the tagboard
- peorth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Wow this is a great tool for QA testers to report bugs on web systems. It's annoying when a tester reports and error and you can't reproduce it in any possible way
- endtwist, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5mouse gestures do work...check the help?
- -=Ross=-, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Meh, the only problem I have is that you have to use a browser inside of a browser...:( It's pretty cool other than that though.
- ZeNiTRaM, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4And you can just avoid clicking the link Tokachu posted and avoid a Goatse.
- TDavid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Was going to blog about this, but then read this on the blog: "Wow...only two days and TAPEFAILURE is running out of bandwidth! Unfortunately only 10GB of bandwidth is alloted to the account, which is shared among a number of domains. If TAPEFAILURE goes down, you know why."
- pcgeek101, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2There's also this neat tool: http://share.skype.com/directory/jybe/view/ While it doesn't do the exact same thing, it does allow you to share your web session w/ a friend.
- Etunus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2sigh. I was hoping Tape 42 would give me the meaning of life or something. Its dreck.
- clueless, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2this letter board is the coolest thing:
http://www.echoed.org/letterboard/
which is also done by this guy... - tgraham, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Very clever...
- endtwist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Only happens when you fall out of the site-piping script (gets the code of a site and displays it through the script to make it local, so those errors don't occur)...the script isn't perfect.
- kritic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1the "digg! this!" co-op in the letterboard gave me immense joy
- krugzilla, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3can't get it to work in firefox flock or opera
- wizgha, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You sure re: FF 1.5.0.2?
- uptown, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2TapeFailure is right ... try it on CNN.
- antdude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wowser!
- infectedRoot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1im thinking of starting a website to inform people to ban AOL from their servers or email clients (like hotmail). its something to get back at those greedy bastards with.
- joemono, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Mouse gestures seemed to work sporadically during my demo, but it's still pretty cool.
- wes121593, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This is cool. However it won't record if you open something up in tabs or in a new window.
- digger_twit, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This is really cool!
- juneaude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Doesn't look at pages under https...
- vurdalak, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Yep, the torrent of javascript errors like:
"uncaught exception: Permission denied to get property Location.href" in Firefox 1.5.0.2
I guess this app uses some kind of browser vulnerability. Any cute browser does't allow to get properties from IFRAME with document from another domain.
So, if it works in your browser properly you use dangerous sowtware - InvaderSil, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I was thinking just that! I could have used this at my last contract.
- wizgha, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This is a brilliant application.
- alsimonds, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I would love to talk about my browsing session as I'm clicking around. That way I could record a "screencast": demoing a site by both mouse actions and voice explanations.
I wish this product could record my voice. - Coreguy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1cool and useful tool
got to digg it ! - sfisher, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0interesting idea but can't get it to work in firefox.
Meanwhile, here is another smart example of AJAX that i digged here: http://digg.com/design/Read_write_web2.0_commenting_system_example_using_AJAX - ddaniels, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0diito. no joy with ff 1.5.0.2
- kasted, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0
digg for something new..
LMAO @ tokachu - vh1`, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2the letterboard keeps spelling out "fag"
ouch - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2slow news day....
- ddaniels, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0What the heck, though, is the point? No save, no email, moving letters, random word construction... I'm sorry, as far entertainment goes... it has little lasting or return appeal.
http://dennisgdaniels.com/tiki-index.php?page=Echoed+Letterboard - tokachu, on 10/12/2007, -9/+3You can pick out random numbers too and see other people's browsing habits:
http://www.tapefailure.com/play/1839/ - elvankoshar, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2can't record mouse gestures.. only screenshots.. nothing special, no digg
- ninedogger, on 10/12/2007, -9/+0u not fat
ajax is fat with information - nex0, on 10/12/2007, -10/+1u so fat
- alexw, on 10/12/2007, -19/+3DIGG THIS BECAUSE AJAX > YOU. Well, at least that's what has been the trend the past couple of months.
Fun tool, by the way.

What is Digg?
